"We met Steve when we arrived. The Bear House is located in historic St. Elmo, surrounded by the mountains and accessible via steep, windy roads. The carriage house is old but lovely. Everything was clean and the hosts provided more amenities than most places we have been. The coffee bar was fully stocked, along with breakfast bars and, in the bedroom, a stash of chocolate. "This little suite was just right for 3 people. Loved the outside seating and the kitties that came to visit. 🐈‍⬛ There was cat hair on the bedroom bedding when we arrived but we were able to change that, with all of the bedding and pillows that were in the closet. Not a big deal to us. The bathroom is very big. Lots of towels . The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I would stay again if we come again in the future. "

"Stone's throw from Ruby Falls. Perfect size for me and my wife. Close to several trail heads and attractions, but still felt like we were outside Chattanooga. Will likely stay again when visiting the area. Secure and safe area. Really no complaints. Cabin was clean and free of bugs. Comfortable and cool during the day and in the evening."
