The space
The annex has two bedrooms: master with double bed, another with two single beds. There is a kitchen with an under counter fridge (no freezer), washing machine, cooking stove and oven, also dining area, living room and bathroom with shower. Apart from toiletries and washing up detergent, bed linen and towels, as well as kitchen basics such as oil, pepper and salt, a starter supply of necessities, from toilet rolls to laundry detergent, is provided.

We welcome a quiet, well-behaved dog at no extra charge. Only one furry friend allowed (sorry, no cats). Please keep your dog on a lead within the property boundaries. Please note that non-guests are not permitted on the property.

To the rear of the annex is a decked area with outdoor furniture that is shared with the home owners. For the location of the annex within our property, please see image provided on property layout.

Our property
We are conveniently located off the A21, and just 10-15 minutes’ walk to Robertsbridge village, which offers shops, a café and bakery, pubs, restaurant, pharmacy, post office, vet, overground train station and bus stops.

Sightseeing in 1066 Country:
We recommend driving if you wish to conveniently enjoy the various attractions of 1066 Country High Weald AONB. E.g. Battle Abbey, Bodiam Castle, Pashley Manor Gardens, Darwell Wood, Scotney Castle and Carr Taylor Vineyard are within 15 minutes’ drive or less. While Rye, Hastings, Camber Sands beach, Chapel Down Vinery and Herstmonceux Castle are approximately 30 minutes’ drive away.

* Our small woods area is reserved for the use of guests staying in the shepherd hut and cabin.

TV and WiFi
TV has Amazon FireTV/Prime Video subscription and apps like ITVx and Netflix. There is a small DVD collection and DVD player. WiFi is available.

Shared Space, Mutual Consideration
Please mind appropriate noise levels and be respectful of other guests, residents and our animal friends. Please have your dog on a lead within the property boundaries.

Septic Tank-Friendly Products
We provide eco-friendly, biodegradable body wash, shampoo, hand soap and washing up liquid that are septic tank-friendly.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt und die Umgebung sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und wir konnten auch Fragen loswerden. Die Bahnstation ist fußläufig zu erreichen, was wir auch genutzt haben. Robertsbidgeist ein schönes Örtchen. Robertsbridge

The cottage offers enough space for 4 people. It is neat, clean and nicely furnished. The only thing missing was a large pot for cooking. Otherwise, the kitchen has everything you need, although there is no dishwasher. The farm is great and thanks to Fran we were able to say hello to the horses. We felt very comfortable and had a very good time.

Die Wohnung ist sehr wohnlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber, wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Alles war wie im Inserat beschrieben und die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

A great little discovery, super quiet, clean, beds very comfortable, and everything set up for a great stay - We were working in the area, so was a perfect spot for us. Fran was super attentive and very helpful.

The location was perfect, a short drive away from Battle and Hastings, day trips were effortless. The annex was spacious and really well equipped. The farm shop is a 2 minute walk away, and had everything we needed. Fran even kindly introduced her stable of horse to our baby, which made her day!
