Location, location, location!! A little piece of paradise right on beautiful Mangrove Bight in Roatan's West End. This modern one bedroom suite was recently renovated to include a full kitchen, new furniture in the living area, renovated bathroom, and an expansive private covered outdoor space right on the water. We provide kayaks and a paddleboard for guest use, the bay in front of the property is perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding! The suite is in the lower floor of our home Casa Amarilla where we would love to have you come and be our guests! The location is very quiet as it is nestled between the mangroves right on the bay, yet it is only a short two minute walk to the heart of the main tourist area of West End. No need for a rental car with plenty of top notch restaurants and dive shops, and the beautiful swimming beach at Half Moon Bay right down the road.

The suite is 630 sq. ft. including a large bedroom with king size bed, large bathroom with walk in shower, and living room with full kitchen. The large covered outdoor space right on the water has just been expanded and completed with porcelain tile. You also have access to our private dock which is perfect for sunbathing, stargazing, or watching the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee. The added convenience for divers is that you don't have to hike your gear to and from the dive shop as they provide pick up and drop p off service right from our private dock!

Cable and high speed internet are included.

We want to make your stay with us relaxing, care free and enjoyable. We provide pickup service to and from the airport for stays of 7 nights or more, and are happy to offer assistance with booking activities during your stay with us. What does the ideal tropical vacation mean for you: diving the world's second largest coral reef, sunbathing on one of the world's top beaches, zip lining through the jungle, paddleboarding in beautiful tropical waters, world renowned sport fishing, happening night life, or simply relaxing in paradise? Roatan has it all and this suite is the perfect location to put you in the heart of the action, while providing a scenic peaceful escape from it all.

Our host, Christina, was so responsive to our questions which made our stay very comfortable. The place has beautiful tropical plants, great dock and beautiful views. We were able to walk to town. A pick up is available on your private dock to go into town. We used it to have a boat take us to West Beach for snorkeling and back. We loved that our stay of 8 nights came with airport pick up and drop off. Our driver even stopped at a grocery store on our way which made our stay so easy and convenient! Loved our stay!

Lovely property

We spent a full week here. The privacy is everything, along with the dock. It’s a beautiful area to start your day off with a cup of coffee and sunshine. The landscaping was such an added bonus. Thanks for a great visit!

Perfect Little Getaway

Stayed here 2 weeks. Communication was excellent. Mark and Deena advised us they would be providing a taxi which was waiting for us at the airport and to bring a few grocery bags. Taxi stopped at the main supermarket (10km away) and waited while we shopped then took us to the property where Mark greeted us. Cost of the taxi was provided but we tipped.Property was really comfortable, especially the bed. Temperature control was awesome. Cookware was a little basic but acceptable and we ate out a lot. There is a good blender. Lots of restaurants within a 10 minute walk and a great one 2 minutes away. Prices are reasonable, but not cheap. A convenience store that has most items you need including some fruits and veggies (and alcohol) was probably a 6 minute walk. Pharmacy close by. Seriously, you don’t need to drive anywhere. Kayaks provided were good and included a full life jacket. The bay at the property is murky so don’t expect to snorkel but good snorkelling is a short walk. There’s about a gazillion dive shops, too. The hammock on the property was awesome.There is no laundromat but there is a clothesline. Mark did mention Victors Laundry Service and there is a Facebook page with phone #, otherwise it’s sink wash. Because we were there 2 weeks, there was a cleaning done after week 1. They do a really good job. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice and peaceful

Great place for couple to stay when visiting West End fairly easy walk to town and half moon bay. My favorite part of Roatan. Wonderful shady garden to relax in before and after day trips. Would recommend

Perfect quiet location near vibrant West End

Property is as beautiful as the pictures! I had debated between West End and West Bay areas, and am so glad we chose this one! A quick and safe walk any time to the West End area, where we enjoyed so many great meals and sunsets. Easy to grab a water taxi to West Bay Beach. While our week was not a perfect sunny one, we still enjoyed two beach days, snorkeling, hydrobiking and a visit to the Sloth Sanctuary. Cooked in on our rain days, which was convenient. Airport transfers with a stop at the grocery store are a bonus, and hosts are available, but provide privacy. Enjoy!

Good location to West End

We enjoyed our stay at the condo - loved the quiet neighborhood, yet very walkable to the West End Restaurants and water taxis to West Bay. Was fun to use the kayaks and paddle around the bay. Thanks to Mark for sharing his fresh picked apple bananas with us - they were delicious:)

Very Quiet One Bedroom near Half Moon Bay

Location was as advertised and exactly what we wanted. Hosts were helpful and property was very comfortable and well prepared. Location was great being near several good restaurants. Snorkeling at half moon bay was amazing.

Beautiful Serene setting

Wow!! Deana and Marks place was stunning. We were on a completely private oasis without a care in the world. Our wonderful hosts were extremely responsive to any and all questions. We are already planning a trip back to our 2nd home. Highly recommended. You won't find a better place. We can't wait to come back.

West end and Half moon bay are the best!

This area was so peaceful with the laid back from way back feel. Whole town and atmosphere was that way, people are kind and awesome. You feel a true community vibe and connection. The condo is great with a beautiful view on the patio, and hummingbird visits enjoying the nectar from the flowers. The garden area is quaint and relaxing. Bed was very comfy as well as the entire condo inside and out. Thanks Deanna and Mark for being perfect hosts! And a big thumbs up to the transportation and grocery stop, very accommodating!

Fantastic!

From the time we booked and throughout our stay, communication with Deana and Mark was so easy and helpful. We travel a lot and both agree this rental has been one of our favourites, and had everything we needed and more. We absolutely loved the outdoor space and access to the dock and kayaks. Having the convenience of a driver to pick up / drop off at the airport and get groceries was so appreciated. Can’t say enough about this place and their recommendations on things to see/do on the island. The location is so convenient, you have water front views and only minutes away from restaurants and the beach. Already planning our return trip next year! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us.

Great location, property and host

Our stay in September was amazing. It started with Deana setting up a pickup for us from the airport. the driver was waiting and ready. plus he stopped at the grocery store on the way so were set to go. Deana and Mark met us when we arrived and got us set up with the code and answered all of our questions. The place is beautifully, clean and right on the water. Plus a huge bonus is that they have a UV filter so the water was safe to drink. Huge convenience. The place had all of the things we needed and the kitchen was well stocked. Also the grill was excellent and we used it at least 5 nights. The snorkeling at the entrance to the bay was excellent, however i recommend that you tie the kayak or paddle board to your ancle to make it easier for the boats to see you. the location was amazing. a 4 minute walk to east end and a ton of bar/restaurants. also a 4 minute walk to a water taxi to get you to West Bxperience. Your review can help guests looking for their next getaway. Title* Great location, property and host Tell us about your stay*ay Beach. we also rented a car for 2 days and went to the East side. I highly recommend renting. just go slow. The apartment, location and hosts were amazing. I highly recommend this property.

Tranquil

We had a wonderful week at Casa Amarillo. Our hosts Deanna and Mark were wonderful. The unit was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The view off the back and from the dock was amazing. We enjoyed frequent hummingbird visits and the waves of butterflies flying west at sunset. It is a very easy walk to half moon bay where there are many restaurants and bars, but when you get back it is very calm and quiet until the roosters crow and you can start a new day. Enjoy paddling in the beight. We sure did!
