"The staff are very nice, the room needed a bit of help though. Sort of dirty, dog hair on the bed. The room was a little stinky. But other than that everything was great."

"The shampoo and conditioner bottles mounted in the shower were empty! The thermostat was it working in our room! There were homeless people hanging out at the side entrance we used to get to our room! I will not stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone!"

"Overall good experience. Room was good size and clean. Refrigerator was in tough shape and barely worked. A/C had to run constantly because it wasn't blowing very cold. Breakfast was good but ordinary mix of a couple hot and cold items. Would stay again if needed."

"The accessible bathroom had some issues. The bathroom sink was partially clogged, the shower allowed water to flood the bathroom floor, and the shower caused the shower curtain to intrude into the shower space to the extent that it was not usable."

"For $130, I would expect the room to be clean. Bathroom had alot of water damage under the sink on the wall same for around the bath. Sink faucet moved completly over when we turned it on and off. Breakfast was ok, but bread products were definitely not fresh."

"The staff are genuinely nice and professional. We had returned one night and a car with lots of stuff in it door was open. Unloading, returning or error? Front desk said if no one came in 10 minutes she would close the door. Welcoming atmosphere, clean remodeled room. We stay here several times a year when we return ‘home’ to JC. The staff reflects JC very well."

"Unique place on a beautiful property. So peaceful with an amazing view of the lake. A bit confused at first about the seperate suites. We would definitely like to come back and spend more time exploring the area."

"Only 2 rooms on the 2nd floor that were short of ready. Smelled like paint really bad as the majority of the second floor was being painted My room smelled like it was just painted. Highly unsatisfied"

"The first room assigned I walked in and the AC was off and the room wasn't cleaned. It was 100 degrees outside. Got assigned a second room on 3rd floor with no elevator, room ok, but AC was set at 60 and room didn't get below 78 degrees, so it ran constantly. As I was leaving and checked under the bed for my stuff, there was clothing and trash from previous stays. And the 3rd floor was hot and smelled like dirty diapers."

"The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were super nice and helpful. My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was non existent."

"Tim, our host, was friendly, knowledgeable and generous with his time. We very much enjoyed the tour of his beautiful home and garden. The candlelight breakfast complete with champagne flutes was truly memorable. We would absolutely stay here again."
