"The property was clean, had plenty of rooms and furnished very nicely. There were plenty of restaurants near by. Most importantly was the owner, Shaneka, who made us feel very welcome. On the first night we were there, Shaneka came out to the property and helped us with a problem we were having with the TV. Not too many owners would do that. I highly recommend staying at this home!"

"Simply amazing! Amazing property, amazing hosts, amazing attention to details! Probably one of the most well appointed and well stocked vacation homes I’ve had the pleasure of renting. If you want a relaxing vacation, this is the place! We fished, sunned, swam, grilled, and soaked up the low country life and hope to come back again. Close enough to both Savannah and SSI for day trips. This is a VRBO gem!"

"Excellent host, very accommodating and quick to respond. Very clean house with plenty of space, ample parking access to dock and navigable water to Sapelo sound. Quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic for a peaceful getaway. Kitchen is nice and well supplied with items for food prep even though we mostly ate at local restaurants. Basically it checks all of our boxes and we plan to return."

"We were welcomed online and everything went very smoothly. The cottage is located in a very quiet area of a coastal village with rich history. EVERYTHING you need is there, but not always in a form that you might be expecting--NO COMPLAINTS at all, as the accommodations are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged in a (much) older home that is beautifully cared for. We would like to come back to Darien and area, in fact, and would stay here."
