"The cottage was functional but quite basic and the supplies were limited to hand soap and coffee. I was also badly bitten during the night by some midge or similar although the rest of my family were not (although they noticed small flies in the bedrooms) so this was a bit unlucky. That said I would put up with the bugs a thousand times over for the northern lights we were able to see. It was a great location."

Room was fine - a little small with an odd door out the bathroom to the patio - but was cute and cozy. Restaurant staff was nice and the girl at the front was really friendly and welcoming. "

Watching cows and calves through viewing windows while dining was such a special experience, and the on-site ice cream bar was a fun bonus. Check-in required a quick workaround since no one was initially at the front desk, but the restaurant staff kindly helped us connect with them—problem solved easily. The room was gorgeous—a dream space that honestly inspired future home renovation ideas. Heated bathroom floors, a powerful rain...
