"We stayed here with our work crew and booked 5 rooms. The motel is in a nice and quiet location. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are great and take pride in the motel, which really shows. All our guys were very pleased - so it's definitely a motel I'd highly recommend. When we're in Mackay next we'll be back to Shakespeare Motel for sure. "

"Staff was friendly and got our key from the lock box since we showed up after hours. On-site free parking, room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The heater didn't work but there is a portable heater in the closet to use. Priced reasonable. Plenty to a shop and eat around the hotel. Nice pool. We would stay here again"

"Fue una noche improvisada ya que el hotel anterior (Rosslyn Bay Resort) lo dejamos una noche antes por lo mucho que nos decepcionó. Y seguir con la ruta y escoger el Clarion fue un acierto. El personal muy amable. Nos dieron una habitación superior simplemente porque tenían libres y así tendríamos mejores vistas. Y así fue, unas vistas del puerto y del mar fabulosas. El hotal está como nuevo, todo impecable."
