"Lovely atmosphere with private feel yet still very close to beach and park. Breakfast on site was good and many places to eat within walking distance. The nature walk on property feels more 'jungle' then the trails in the park itself. We had two rooms side by side which worked well for our family of four. Pool area is very nice with shaded palapas. Trail at end of parking lot to beach which is flat and off the main road. Highly recommend if you want a smaller, quiet resort within easy walking...

"Our group had a 3 night stay in the monkey room. We loved the private outdoor seating area, the large room with a fridge (cold drinks!), and comfortable beds. The staff was so lovely and super helpful. Two of us were not feeling well for some of the time, and they were so accommodating with when we needed our room cleaned, helping us order fresh fruit plates to the room, and checking in on us when we went in and out. "The pool is in need of serious repairs. The air took a long time to cool down. I let the lady at the front desk know but she said it was because it was hot outside. The restaurant was closed. Not a resort. "

Biggest draw back is the hotel does not provide towels for the beach. Also, you have to rent a beach umbrella and chairs each day from locals - however this seemed to be common. "

"Clean small rooms in a well-kept hostel. The staff were great especially Oscar, who greeted us heartily each time he saw us. Complimentary breakfast was tasty and filling. You can't beat the price, especially when you can walk 5 minutes to the beach."
