My wife and I have rented various houses/condos in the Rancho Mirage/Palm Desert area and within Mission Hills Country Club and this house was one of the most comfortably furnished we have stayed in. The house was clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was spacious and contained every accessory you will need, many of them in "like new" condition. The view from the backyard, overlooking the Mission Hills North golf course and the mountains made for many a lazy day. John, the owner, was extremely pleasant to deal with, and one of the most responsive owners (within minutes usually!) we have dealt with.Our 5-week stay was wonderful, to the point of not wanting to leave! We would, and definitely hope to, return to this fabulous property again next year!

Peaceful, Serene Setting

The house was well supplied and clean. My husband and i enjoyed the quiet setting and golf course view from the back porch, primary bedroom, living area and kitchen. John was a gracious and reponsive host. When my plans unexpectedly changed and i had more guests arrive than planned, there was plenty of room for the two queen size air mattresses my friends loaned me. The house was conveniently located, apprx 15 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from Indian Wells, 5 minutes from grocery stores and 7 minutes from hwy 10. Would definitely stay here again.

First class Property

Outstanding property top to bottom ! Despite incredible circumstances with CORVID 19 we were very reluctant to leave; the property , the community and the city were high end in all aspects. Owner John Kim was very responsive and accommadative to questions and unusual requirements that arose. Highly recommend and plan to return in the future.

Wonderful winter escape

The title says it all. The property was wonderful, and we will definitely return. It was one of the best properties we have had the pleasure of renting in Mission Hills. Very quiet, peaceful lovely setting/home for our time in Rancho Mirage. The owner bend over backward to assist us with any issues, all of which were small.

Terrific Oasis in Rancho Mirage

We took the kids (5 and 7) to stay here over their Spring Break. The home is in the Mission Hills Golf Club community. It is literally right on the golf course, with only your own pool and Jacuzzi between the house and the greens. The setup is great. A 2 bedroom house living room and well-equipped kitchen wrapped around a patio. Off the patio is a separate casita with its own bedroom and bath. Great for the mother in law or the kids, or both. The owner was a text message away and very responsive. The home was nicely furnished and decorated and was very clean. Tile floors throughout, which is a plus. Modern appliances, a Keurig and plenty of cookware and dishes. A nice Weber gas grill out back. A Costco, Walmart and Sam's Club are a mere two miles down the road. This is a perfect home for a quiet getaway with or without the kiddos. In our case, the pool was more than sufficient to wear the kids out daily. Great home, great view, great pool and a very helpful and responsive host. What more could you ask for??

Fabulous Holiday

We were very impressed with this rental, it is well equipped, clean and in a great location in Mission Hills. The views are spectacular, golf course, snow capped mountains in the distance and gorgeous sunrises in the morning. John, our host was very attentive to our needs during our stay and looked after the few issues we had right away (example: replaced a noisy hot water tank within a couple of days). We entertained guests and all were suitably impressed with the house and location. I would recommend this rental for your next trip to Palm Springs area.

Excellent home, Great owner

We have been coming to Rancho Mirage for over 10 years now, and we have rented a variety of places, from older condos near the country club to homes like this one. This home was certainly among the finest we have had the opportunity to enjoy. The bedrooms are well spaced apart, the casita is well-appointed and a viable option, the living room furniture is comfortable and the patio spaces are ample for lounging outside. John receives high marks for making sure everything is well-stocked. We prepare meals almost nightly, and most places we have stayed have seen us off to the Dollar Store for various utensils athat are missing from a normal kitchen. Not here! We had everything we could need, and that is very impressive. Grill is natural gas as is fire pit so no stress about running out of fuel. Also, incredibly ample supply of towels for bathroooms and pool. And hangers! Adequate hangers! These details seem small, but that make the difference between spending your time on vacation vs, spending it shopping! Internet works with no worries. Pool/spa as well. Location is excellent, home is north facing, so would be a particular joy for summer rental. We were fortunate with pleasant winter weather, so were able to utilize the excellent patio spaces. Cable works well and televisions that worked in every bedroom and family room. There is a video game table here that has arcade classics that is a fun diversion. This house is well-situated for walks on either the Pete Dye country club course or the Gary Player course or the surrounding neighborhoods. Early morning views available in about 5 minutes walk from either are superb. Owner includes bicycles, we did not try them but there are several and they are ready to go. So that you know this is a fair review I will include a couple of personal quibbles. All the lights in the home are very cool white either LED or fluorescent. I would prefer a softer light in lamps and accent spaces. And these days a smart tv might be a bit more useable as the guest could use their Netflix or Amazon. Having said that, if that’s all I could come up with, that should tell you the home is an excellent choice. We would rate it in our top 2 or 3 for sure, and would unhesitatingly choose it again.

Has all the bells and whistles

This property has everything outside----spa, pool, seating, fire pit thing-----inside is comfortable with good television, all needs met on cooking utensils etc. It even has bikes and comfortable, safe biking. Not too far away from freeway or from Palm Springs Enjoy !!

Loved this beautiful home with. a golf course and mountain view backdrop. Coming back very soon!

We loved our stay at Ranco Mirage. When we arrived to the hiuse John and his wife had cold beverages in the fridge waiting for us and a gift bag of spa items, which was so very thoughtful. The pool and hot tub was very nice, we lounged around the pool most afternoons on the comfortable lounge chairs and nice sitting area. There is table and chairs and led lighted umbrella to sit out in the evening and enjoy your supper. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The living room has beautiful comfy leather electric reclining sofas. The wifi was awesome. The house is beautifully decorated and the whole house is so spacious. The casita is separate from the house a real beautiful private retreat for company. We also loved the bikes we toured around lots with them. We played pickleball on the courts so much fun. The whole gated community is so clean and beautifully manicured. Everyone in the neighbourhood was very friendly. The other thing I would like to say is that John was very responsive to any texts or questions we had he literally answered within minutes which we really appreciated. We would recommend this beautful property for sure, infact we are going back in January to stay again. 🌴

AWESOME Home for Golf Vacation!

Came to Rancho Mirage in late September for a 4 day Golf Tournament; stayed 9 nights including practice rounds. This awesome vacation home is ideally located for our group of 3 golfers. Inside the gate at Mission Hills CC, right on #17 of The Westin, Gary Player Signature Course, couldn't be any closer to the action! 3 BR 3 BA home, perfect for our needs. Big enough for all of us, each player had his own bedroom and bath. HUGE Kitchen with enough space to spread good food out everywhere! Outdoor grill keeps ya from having to spend $38.95+++ per player for dinner! Buy a better bottle of wine instead! Awesome POOL, and hot tub right out the back door, the perfect spot to relax after being taken to the woodshed by Pete Dye 18 times! John is a great host, and very responsive to guests' needs. Casita bedroom A/C did not seem to be cooling on our 1st morning, so we texted John to let him know. John had his guy on it quickly, and A/C was fixed before we returned from our practice round that morning. The quick response was much better than we expected, for sure! Thanks John! The 4 courses we played were the Dinah Shore Tournament Course (host course for the ANA Inspiration, LPGA's 1st Major of the season in late March!) and Pete Dye Challenge Course, each playing out of Mission Hills CC. We also played The Westin, Pete Dye Resort Course and Gary Player Signature Course. (Yeah.....2 Pete Dye's out of 4 rounds.....dang!) Our "longest drive" (golf pun) was about 2 miles to the parking lot of the Gary Player course, even though it's right in the back yard, and you can see the 18th green from the hot tub! MHCC Clubhouse is only a mile or so. SUPER Close to the best golf in the Palm Springs area! Though none of our 3 players played well enough to bring home a National Championship, I believe that out of 600 golfers, we scored a Top 5 for "Best Place to Stay!" Folks, don't hesitate to pull the trigger, and rent this home! It's everything you see here, and John is a great host! Thanks again John!

Great house, great host!

We stayed in August 2018 and had fantastic vacation. John was an excellent host. The overall experience from booking, check in, check out, communication was first class. The house is spacious and has everything you need, but the best part is definitely the pool! Thank you John for everything, we will be coming back again for sure. Miodrag from Vancouver

Beautiful spacious home with a great pool

We stayed here for a week with our two grandkids. This home is spacious, with modern, beautiful furniture and the home has a great pool and view of the golf course. The beds and linens are very comfortable and the whole house is well maintained and very clean. The kitchen has all the bells and whistles, modern appliances, granite countertops and plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. The courtyard in the front of the house is huge but we spent the bulk of our time in the pool and enjoying the backyard. Plenty of seating everywhere. John, the owner, checked in with us and made sure everything met our expectations and that we had the best time possible. If we had any questions, we just texted him and he replied almost immediately. Could not ask for a better or more responsive host than John. I can't recommend this home enough. Great for families as well as for 3 couples or singles as each bedroom has it's own bathroom. We will definitely come back! Thank you again John for sharing your home.
