Several staff members were rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen to guest concerns. "The advertising of this place is a little misleading. The Swiss Chalet is actually across the road from the lake. The lake is on the same property at the Schloss Hotel which is connected, but not the same place. Guests of the Swiss Hotel do have the advantage of using the private lake area though, rather than the public area. The Schloss Hotel is however, much nicer, more modern, and the rich cousin of the Swiss Chalet.. and you clearly pay for what you get. My advice is find the extra cash or...

"We had a nice stay at Château Gütsch. The highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly the spectacular view from the terrace, which overlooks Lucerne, the lake and the surrounding mountains. It’s the main reason to stay here and it’s truly breathtaking, especially in the evening.
