Copthorne Chapel, Chapel Lane, Copthorne, District of Mid Sussex, West Sussex, England. Built in 1828 and restored in 1898, according to the plaque above the circular window, this Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion evangelical chapel has been in continuous use ever since. It stands in an isolated position northeast of the village; the Surrey/West Sussex county boundary is immediately behind the photographer, and East Sussex and Kent are also close by.
The viaduct was opened in July 1841. The 11 million bricks needed for its construction travelled up the Ouse River (via Newhaven and Lewes) from the Netherlands. It cost £38,500 to build[4] (equivalent to about £2½ million in 2000[5]).

The structure is a Grade II listed building and was restored in 1996 with grants from the Railway Heritage Trust and English Heritage. Matching stone was imported from France, to ensure a close match with the existing balustrades and pavilions.[6]

The viaduct is still used, with around 110 trains per day passing over it on the Brighton Main Line.

The beginning of winter for me is the 5th of November, AKA Bonfire Night.

There are tonnes of free displays in the local towns, with Lewes (Sussex) hosting one of the biggest celebrations - about 30 different bonfire societies attend and host displays/parades! Lindfield is my local favourite though. #LifeAtExpedia
