"We were on our way home from Oregon to the Bay Area, and thought we would break up the drive, given that going straight would have been about 12 hours. I have always tried to stay in a few brand hotels to avoid situations like this, but I had a moment of weakness trying to save a few dollars for what I thought would be a quick stay. The reviews were decent, but the experience was not.
The front desk staff was not friendly. The first woman was busy, which was fine, but she called out a woman...

"We had a pleasant stay at Best Western Plus Hilltop Inn in Redding. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and conveniently located with easy access to Interstate 5. It was a great base for visiting local attractions such as Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay Exploration Park. There were also plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations nearby.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options, and the staff were friendly and welcoming...
