Just returned from our one week stay at Casa Macumba. Our family of 18, including toddlers, pre-adolescents, teens, young adults and old adults had a blast! The house was perfect for our group - no stairs; each spacious and air conditioned bedroom has its own private bath; large indoor gathering place, giant dining room table, multiple a outdoor seating areas, great pool, large grassy play area; ping-pong table, bocce ball, corn hole, kayaks, boogie boards, pool toys and best of all, it's directly on the beach! OK, it's a tie what was best of all...directly on the beach, or the royal treatment of Carmen, our chef, and Dani, our "everything" guy (from margaritas by the pool or at the beach, to pina coladas for the little ones). He quickly learned our names and our favorite drinks. We opted to let Carmen surprise us each day and she did not disappoint! She even prepared a separate meal each day for our granddaughter with celiac disease. Fermin kept the grounds pristine and beautiful. He set up chairs and umbrellas to the beach every day, and even got us some mangos from the tall mango tree in the yard. Leticia greeted us each day with the most beautiful smile and kept our rooms super clean. Blair answered all our questions prior to arrival and arranged for transportation and activities for us. (Highly recommend the surf trip with David of Surf'nSayulita!) Although it was almost unbearably hot, our whole group had a grand time and would return in a heartbeat!
