This Torre Mar Galapagos Boutique Suites' spacious two-bedroom suite with a balcony offers guests all the comforts of home. The open concept living/dining area also has a kitchen with a breakfast bar. The bath in this nicely appointed suite is finished with slate counters. The master bedroom may be fitted with a King bed or, upon advance request, two extra-long twin beds and has an alcove with a built-in writing desk. The second bedroom has two double beds. Both Bedrooms have walkouts onto the private balcony. All of our guests have use of the ocean view social terrace. The central location and the attention to detail make your stay at Torre Mar Galapagos Boutique Suites a perfect choice for an active adventure or a relaxing tropical getaway with family or friends.

Great trip, loved the place, amazing host

Pictures are accurate and the location is central to everything in Puerto Ayora. The best part of staying here for our group of four, though, by far was the host Donna. She has lived in Galapagos for a long time and knows all the establishments in Puerto Ayora very well - we were very happy with her Scuba Diving and restaurant recommendations. During our trip, we ran into some difficulty that required us to navigate the local bureaucracy, and Donna was there every step of the way to assist us during our trip. Without her, we would have been completely lost. Thank you so much, Donna!

comfortable apartment

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a convenient location in town, has very comfortable beds and a smart common area layout. We appreciated having the daily maid service and fresh towels (including beach towels). The view from the 2nd floor isn't much, but the social terrace on the top floor is big, comfortable and has great views (also wifi). Owners are great to work with and helped coordinate our transportation to and from Baltra.

Beautiful People beautiful vacation

We spent a week with John and Donna at their beautiful property. It is difficult to put into words how amazing everything was. The apartment was so comfortable, clean, and convenient. We were able to walk everyday to the main port in order to begin our tours excursions and such. We could also walk to the supermarket which was great because we wanted to have breakfast and snacks in the apartment. We rarely use the cab but when we did it worked out since they are only a dollar fifty per ride. John and Donna went above and beyond they are fast friends hospitable and super cool. Their son Donovan is also a cutie. My boys had loads of fun with him walking the dog and playing at the park. Another great thing about this property are the amazing views and how close it is to restaurants bars shops and all of the Excursion companies. Galapagos is a magical beautiful place and we feel so blessed to have shared it with magical beautiful people. Thank you John and Donna come see us in New York anytime!

Like having a friend in Santa Cruz

The owners, John and Donna, could not have been more accommodating and friendly. We showed up with very little planned and they helped fill the void. The apartment is a full 2 bedrooms with living area. Ideal size for a family of 3-5. Great views from the terrace. Any destination in town is only $1.50 away by taxi. I would also recommend taking an island tour with John if he is available. He is a local and a great guide.

Great stay at this apartment!

This place is just how it looks in the pictures, well kept and everything was in working order. Donna is easy to communicate with and very helpful with any other information that you might need. My only disappointment was realizing that the balcony in the pictures that you see are not the one that is connected to your apartment. Those pictures are the top deck and it's 2 stories up. I went up everyday and enjoyed the comfortable furniture and admired the view. The apartment does have a private balcony with a small table and a perfect place to watch the sunrise. It is clean and comfortable and near the outdoor market for fruit and veggies. It is about at 10-15 walk to the pier from this place. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place as well as Donna as a host.

Be Part of a Neighborhood in the Galapagos!

My husband and I stayed in at this apartment for 5 nights in Feb 2018. It was cool to be part of a neighborhood, rather than staying at a hotel. John & Donna were fabulous hosts suggesting tours, food store locations, setting up taxis for us and going above the duty of being a "host" to help us with a couple unusual requests. The kitchen had everything we needed and I noticed there were nice touches you don't always see. For example, high-quality extra towels and washcloths, good lighting in the bathroom, fresh flowers and coffee/tea in the kitchen. The main touristy part of town is walkable from the apartment, but if you are tired, taxis are very cheap. We did not have a lot of days here, so Santa Cruz was a good island due to all the tourist things you could get to without a boat. The weather is temperate and most of the time we had our windows open, but they have A/C splits in each bedroom (and the living room) if you have difficulty with heat. There is a bit of street noise all day, but it quiets down at night. They do not have an elevator, so if you have challenges with stairs, you will want to be on the ground floor. We enjoyed the rooftop deck with nice breezes and a lovely ocean view. Great for sundowner! I would recommend staying here if you are not doing a cruise.

Perfect base while exploring the Galapagos

We couldn't have stayed in a place that was ore perfect. Donna was very responsive to our queries before we arrived and although she was away while we were there, Fabiola was most helpful in getting us situated. The location was most convenient to everywhere we wanted to go and the price was most reasonable. A 5 star recommendation.

Awesome property, awesome owners!

The location of this property is perfect - walking distance or quick taxi ride to everything in Puerto Ayora. Lots of restaurants and shops within a couple minute walk. The kitchen had everything you'd need, all appliances and TVs worked, the shower was nice with plenty of hot water, the air conditioning was great and fully cooled the apartment, the social terrace is spacious and comfortable. There are plenty of windows so the apartment has a very light and airy feel. The housekeeping service was outstanding and you are given fresh beach (and bath) towels each day. Plus the beds were super comfortable, we all liked them better than the ones we have at home! Donna is very helpful and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend you let her organize your day trips, rides to/from airport, etc. I can’t say enough good things, I highly recommend!!

Excellent apartment with perfect location

Spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom in a great location. We stayed for 4 nights and would stay there again. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Donna was very helpful with planning and a gracious host.
