Tel Confirmation must be required!
Expedia system didn't reserve my room properly, so no room was available during new year.
Hotel staff speaks only spanish, so without spanish this hotel is impossible. (if you speak spanish well,
it's very regular level of Ecuadorian hotel.)
Other customers also missed rooms. Tel confirmation must be required. Don't rely on Expedia,

Very satisfied
Stayed here for a week. Realize that you are likely going to the Galapagos for not for the resort experience but for the outdoor activities and wild life. There was a some culture shock for a day or so. The 2nd floor accommodation was v nice and spacious. Rooms will be as high as the 4th floor, accessible by stairs. Rooms had multiple beds.
This hotel, like many hotels on the island are like a nice oasis in the middle of local residential neighborhoods which look pretty poor and primitive by USA standards. Our initial reaction to the neighborhood was concern but after spending a week there we realized the island is very safe. We regularly walked to and from the hotel in the evening and had no problems. Everyone was friendly. Just watch out for the taxis. Cars have the right of way, not people. The town center is about a 15-20 min walk down these neighborhoods. There is a small bakery around the corner where we picked up some bread and cookies.
Breakfast was very good, fruit, egg, toast cheese, ham and local fruit juice. The staff was very helpful despite their limited English. Had to use google translator a few times. English speakers are not as common in the Galapagos but we managed just fine. Slow WIFI is available.
The hotel tries hard to provide nice accommodations for USA and European travelers. Hotel condition- very good.
If you feel you want or need a more "resort" experience, look on Charles Darwin Rd.
Would definitely have no problems staying again.

Kind of Expensive for the services provided
Although in Galápagos hotels with services like a pool are expensive, it was not really worthwhile I never used the pool because it was dirty and too small, besides you don´t want to be in a hotel with pool when you are in a marine reserve so beautiful like Galápagos. So it´s better trying to save in accomodation because tours to see the other islands are really expensive.

Inviável
Pessimo custo beneficio.

Horrible hotel for anyone - Galapagos
The staff was very unfriendly, rude. The rooms were lacking a lot of attention. There was no safe in the room, this made me uncomfortable considering there was no locked door to the public in the main area of the hotel, and anyone on the street could easily gain access to the hotel. Locks on room doors were flmsy at best, and there was no privacy. Plus pool access was denied up until the last day to which I found it filthy, disgusting and had no desire to use it.

I'd stay again.
Nice place just a few blocks from the beach and town center of activities. Taxi cabs are $1 to anywhere in town. The pool is nice and clean. the breaskfasts simple but okay. The staff actually cooked breakfast for us 30 minutes early when we had a tour to catch.Very nice. Only complaint is when we realized our sliding patio door wouldn't lock the staff failed to fix it. Not good. Overall a pleasant stay for the money. Good hot showers and very thin walls also should be pointed out.

Quiet, but it'll do
The people there are very nice and friendly. My first day the was an experience. I was greeted with with no water. My friend that joined me was stuck in the shower with no water...Day 1. They were quick to fix it...two hours later. No water problem rest of the trip. The shower tells seems old, but clean. The shower towels really thin and old...no fluffy feeling. lol Oh, neighbor has a rooster...go off clock work at 5 am every morning. The place was clean and the all the people at the hotel were very kind and helpful.

Disappointed.
The appearance of the hotel is okay but it has major drawbacks. First, and most important, it's buried in a run-down neighborhood approx 6 blocks from the water. Also, I found it extremely difficult to get the "straight word" on anything. My queries about "tours" etc. always resulted in the same hustler appearing on the scene. I cannot stand that type of pressure from someone who apparently has inside connections. Individual staff members seemed okay and the breakfast was also okay.
In my judgment an "accident about to happen" exists in the outside staircase used for access to the rooms on the 2nd, and 3rd floors. It rains almost daily and the wet stairs
are extremely slippery and could result in a fall causing serious injuries.
I would not book at this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone else...Overall, I left the Galapagos Islands with negative feelings...I believe that staying in a hotel on the water would have made a difference.

I was not disapointed.
This hotel was fine for what it was. It was not super luxurious, it was not on a main street, it was a basic place to sleep. Keep in mind, the galapagos isn't hawaii, there are no mega hotels, no Hiltons, although there are nicer places then this. It was maybe 4 blocks from the main road, which wasn't too bad, considering that a cab is a dollar, and most tours, even day tours will pick you up from your hotel. My only complaint, the walls are thin and the rooms smell like insecticide.

Sad Experience
I called ahead to Hotel as I was informed departing Costa Rica that I would need a "Fiebre Amarilla" vaccine (yellow fever vaccine) and requested that the reception at Casa Natura Galapagos call me back if the vaccine was available on the Island. A Ms. Pilar did not think this was an urgent enough medical request and let me come ahead to the Galapagos when I could have easily gotten the vaccine on the mainland. My trip was delayed 10 days, at much expense to me because of this.
Other problems with my room:
-Checked into occupied room
-Twin beds in new room instead of requested full/queen
-No hot water
-No bath tub stop
-No mattress pad
-Mold on pillowcase
-Turn down service entered room while I was asleep
-Hotel lost power @0515
I have fotos of mold and bare beds

Not a bad hotel but rates too high for this standard.
I have several small gripes about this hotel which I wouldn't bother mentioning if it was priced at a lower rate. We were there for 3 nights, it was ok but not a great stay.
The hotel was about 3 blocks from the main area of town, we didn't have a problem walking as the town is very safe. Taxi's are only $1 where ever you go in the town.
Even though the rooms appeared to be clean we could see that the bathroom had not been cleaned very well. Hairs in the bath and on the floor also a small dead spider was on the bath when we arrived and still there 3 days later. The Television didn't work even though they had someone try to fix it on the second day.
The staff were young, very pleasant and helpful even though they didn't speak good English.
The island has very limited hotels and from what I heard the standards are pretty similar every where.

Decent Hotel
Overall I thought it was a decent place to stay. The only issue I had was that the hot water did not have much water pressure. If you turned on the cold water then the water was too cold. However, if you turned on the hot water and waited 10 minutes before getting into the shower, then the pressure increased and you could take a decent shower. Other than it was fine. Breakfast was good, room was clean, I had plenty of space (four beds for just me) and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Went out of their way to accomodate us
The hotel was only built in 2009 and is in mint condition. Staffed by locals most of whom had very good english who went out of their way to walk their clients down the road to bus stops, taxis, whatever they needed. The only complaint was that the walls were thin and you could hear kids running around at all hours. The on-line map does not show its location acuratly, its actually north of the port's main road (charles darwin ave) by about five blocks but still super easy to find, 10 minute walk from anything perfectly safe and definetly worth it.

Casa Natura - Middle of the Road
This hotel was average. The hot water was spotty and the water pressure lacking. The breakfasts were very repetitive and unimaginative. The staff was very nice and the President of Ecuador was arriving there as I was leaving, so it can't be all bad.
