"We had a fantastic stay here. The resort is absolutely perfect, great location and amenities, it’s almost too good to leave to go exploring (but you have to!). The room, balcony and view was spectacular. If you are thinking of going here, stop thinking, just book it, and definitely upgrade to the Gold experience, it’s worth it. "The newly renovated room was beautiful ! Furniture brand new ! The view of golf course and ocean ( seeing the whales too) was chefs kiss ! The grounds were very Hawaiian traditional and tropical, simply divine! The snorkeling there was incredible! My only quip would be the food, some was great, but outrageously expensive! Even by the pool, which seems a bit over the top, the staff was wonderful! I highly recommend"

"The pictures on Expedia are not actual pictures of the resort. There are similar features but not the features pictured. There is one breakfast place that always has a wait and very limited menu or very expensive buffet. Parking is ridiculously expensive but having a car is necessary if you don’t want to go broke on the limited food options in the resort.
