"Joe is a superb host--very friendly and helpful without intruding and accommodating when we unexpectedly needed a key for the cottage.The place was clean and bright and had what we needed for lots of cooking and eating there. Some rentals are sterile, and this had color and decor that made it feel warm.Our favorite feature is the little seating area outside. We enjoyed it multiple times. The one downside: the bathroom situation. Other people have mentioned it, and we dealt with it, but I didn't...

"Owner was very responsive and accommodated an earlier check in which was appreciated. Check in was straight forward. House was clean and tidy, spacious with a garden that the kids enjoyed and comfy beds.Shower pressure was weak but overall we enjoyed the house and would recommend. Great location to enjoy the full range of the monterey Bay Area as well as local shops, although the house is well stocked with amenities "
