Amazing

I travel a lot and I have to say this property was perfect. They had everything you need just like all the other reviews said. We had 6 adults a 2 year old, 4 year old and 7 year old. The pool was amazing. The property was very spacious. Housekeeping came mid week to refresh. Plenty of kids outdoor and indoor toys. No need to bring. Beach chairs. Bikes. Wagon for beach. Bug spray. Towels. Kitchen was great. We were lucky to meet the owners and they are terrific. They were just leaving.

A Real Oasis

Such a fun house to stay, especially with kids! The layout is perfect for a group. The pool is beautiful with the slide (the pictures don’t do the slide justice - it’s incredible) and the sun shelf is perfect for relaxing. Just a few minute walk from the beach. The house is loaded with everything you could possibly need, and it’s so charming and quirky. The host and ambassador were so friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely stay again!

Wonderful

The house was just perfect for our family, the pool and close proximity to area beaches was great. Housekeeping came mid way through our trip and they were fantastic. Our concierge, Alonzo was super responsive even bringing propane for the grill late one day. Thank you for a perfect vacation.

Perfection!

Sandy Toes & Salty Kisses was the perfect house for our group of four adults and six kids. The house was spacious and comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for meals and fun. The pool, slide and tanning shelf exceeded our expectations. The pool and beach toys and chairs were so helpful. The location allowed for easy walks to several beautiful beaches. We will definitely be back to Provo and we hope to stay at this wonderful property again!

Everything right there …

Pool with slide, cottage for separation in group, near private beach super close, grace bay restaurants a 5 min drive. Charlene and Alanso were so easy to deal with and communicative. Awesome experience.

Beautiful Turks

The house itself was great! Property manager very accessible. We’ve been to Turks before and stayed at a resort. We noticed, this time around, the mosquitoe problem when not at a resort or maybe it was we weren’t getting the ocean breezes that kept them away. Overall we love Turks and Caicos.

Almost perfect but one issue

Our group of two families (5 adults and 5 kids - ages 4 to 10) stayed at this property for 5 nights and had a great time. The pool was great for the kids, the beach was within walking distance (although we mostly drove to other beaches on the island) and we made use of the fully equipped kitchen and grill to cook some good meals. We appreciated the amenities like the many beach bikes, kayaks, and beach gear. Now for the bad. My wife and I stayed in the cottage, and there was a big mosquito problem. The cottage windows and doors have slats to let in the ocean breeze. They are supposed to crank shut but most of them don't. It seems the mosquitos are attracted to the cottage air (or ac) and just hover in a swarm outside the screen door... so whenever you open the door a bunch will fly in. This didn't happen at the main house because there are no screens. My wife's legs were covered in bug bites just from sleeping!!! Please fix this asap! The other issue was there was no hot water in the cottage shower. It wasn't such a big deal because the weather was so hot and humid but it was strange. Would i stay here again? Yes... but I would make some one else sleep in the cottage!

The BEST place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses. We had 3 families including 3 kids (ages 7,7 and 1). This house was PERFECT for our family. We enjoyed the welcome tour when we arrived and were so pleased that the house was exactly as pictured. The bedrooms were comfortable and we had plenty of room and bathroom space for everyone. The kitchen was FULLY stocked with every kitchen gadget you would need to make a quick meal or a full size dinner. The pool was a great hit with the adults and kids. Everyone enjoyed relaxing and sliding down the slide. The lounger pool at the top was great to tan and for the littlest one to have a great place to splash around as well that was not too deep. There were plenty of beach towels, flip flops, life jackets, puddle jumpers, pool/beach floats, pool toys, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, and kayaks provided. We were so happy to see we had more than enough of these things. If you need it, I promise it’s probably there somewhere. We enjoyed the bikes and rode them to the beach to see sunrises and sunsets. Some of the ac units are on solar power and we were excited that this was available as it helped keep the cost of electricity down. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay at this villa and will be back!

Leeward Settlement Paradise

This was my husband and my third trip to Turks and Caicos and second time renting in the Leeward Settlement. We knew when we brought our children and grandchildren to Provo we had to find a place in Leeward (a quiet, residential neighborhood). Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses was just that place for our family of eleven (Ages 3-71)! The listing doesn’t do the property justice - it is more spacious and charming than photographed. The main house and cottage provided comfortable sleeping quarters for each member of our party. The interior hub of the villa is the expansive kitchen and dining area. The gourmet cooking/prep area is equipped with every conceivable gadget, pot/pan, tableware/serveware and utensil. The exterior hub is the pool, waterslide (operates on a timer from approx. 11:00am - 7:00pm) and relaxing patio areas. Mornings were spent at Sunset Beach - a short walk from the villa, and the onsite wagon helped us transport umbrellas, chairs, toys, and a cooler (all provided for our use). Afternoons were spent frolicking in the pool and zipping down the waterslide. The villa had a vast array of pool (rafts, rings, water wing vests) and sand toys which were employed daily. The easy riding bikes took us on jaunts around the neighborhood and into town to enjoy açaí bowls. Even the kayaks got a workout during our stay. We’d recommend Graceway IGA on the Leeward Hwy for your grocery needs. Don’t miss CocoVan for a unique and relaxing meal, da Conch Shack for a taste of Jamaican cuisine and the best pina coladas, Somewhere Else for guac/chips and margaritas, Taylor’s Beach - calm, shallow waters and no crowds, Thursday Night Fish Fry - live music, local food and merchandise vendors, ice cream at Scoops, and for water adventures we highly suggest Big Blue Collective. Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses will long be remembered as our family made in unforgettable memories here in paradise!

Perfect Getaway!

Highly recommend Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses for your Turks & Caicos family vacation. The property was perfect for our family and another - 4 adults and 4 kids - and with a rental car, it’s a great home base to explore the island. We either took a short walk to a very nice, quiet beach or took advantage of the house’s pool with an interesting but still fun, concrete slide. Definitely would do it again.

Great visit and property

The house was in a great location and had many amenities. The pool was even better than the pictures and the bikes made getting to the beach easy. There were plenty of beach towels and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. There were a few small things that could've been better. We did not receive the code to get into the house prior to check in so there was a delay in getting into the house upon arrival. The wifi and TV was spotty at times as well. This was a bit disappointing because it was NCAA tournament time so we had to go elsewhere to watch games since it was not resolved in time. Charlene was very responsive when we did have other issues. We had a storm while there and they quickly sent someone to clean leaves out of the pool and to fix the water dispenser when we had an issue with that.

Family Fun

The house was very nice, loved the Caribbean decorations. The pool was perfect and the slide a lot of fun. The house and cottage had everything we needed for our family of 7 adults. The beach is a short walk away. Didn’t use the bikes. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Amazing home with wonderful hosts

Two families with tweens and young teens spent the holiday here and enjoyed the spacious home and beautiful pool, outdoor area and cottage. The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive, more than we expected with the holidays. It was a short walk and bike ride to two quieter, beautiful beaches. Our stay here was perfect.

Comfortable Stay

Overall very good stay. The outside patio and pool area were high end, perfect and relaxing. Bring your bug spray as mosquitoes can be rough, but manageable. The inside of the house was not as nice as the outside and some of the furnishings and kitchen are becoming dated - however, it was not a big deal. The bathrooms were good and beds comfortable. The location was fine for our family as we don't mind hopping on bikes to get to the beach. Bikes and beach equipment were decent - some better than others, so I hope owners keep investing to keep in working order as that would be a big deal if we couldn't count on the bikes and chairs. There should be chairs for every person in the house and we had one chair that was a loser, so had to rotate among the family. Also, one bike kept popping a chain, so not useable. There was a good beach umbrella. The neighborhood was very nice. Close enough the resort area to get good dinners with a short 10 min drive. Beaches are great - walkable to the resort area but quieter and less crowded. Overall very good stay and fit our family nicely.

Amazing Trip

Property was just as listed/described. Had 8 in our group with 4 adults and 4 kids (10,8,6 and 6). All had a great time- kids loved the pool, especially the slide. Close proximity to the beach 10 min to walk, but we just loaded up the car for a 2 min drive to beautiful sunset beach. Yet another beautiful trip to T&C.

Comfort and beauty with island appeal

There were 10 of us, so we also used the cottage out back. Everything was beautiful and worked well. We had one issue with a broken window in the cottage, but the property manager was on it to get it fixed. We really enjoyed the stay. Easy access to the beach and a beautiful neighborhood!

We had a good time here.

Overall, we had a good time here. The property is fun and the kitchen is well stocked and was conducive to a large group like we had but it was not perfect for sure. Overall, it was a very nice stay. The location is great with an easy to walk to private beach. The surf was high when we were here so we had to go to another beach at the other end of the island because we had small kids. There is nothing that the property to could about that. But, I have some pet peeves. 1. There were 3 bathtubs which we thought would be good for the 1 year olds. Only 1 worked. The other drains were broken. 2. There were plenty of chairs but only 4 were halfway decent. The rest were rusty and fallng apart. 3. There were no beach umbrellas. We had to pay $ 200 for beach umbrellas from a rental company so if you need some shade at the beach be prepared to pay for it. 4. The pool had an issue where there was at least 24 inches of water missing from the pool. The top 2 steps were dry. We asked the pool person who came if it could be filled and he said that there was a leak so no. One of the big things I thought would be fun was the slide but the water was so low no one would use it. It is also not for little ones but I knew this from the picture. 5. My daughter pulled on the faucet to move it in one of the bathrooms which has a faucet coming out of the wall and it broke off the wall. Water came gushing out and we could not get to the shutoff which was behind the vanity and it was glued to the wall. My son had to find the main shutoff to the house. About 40 gallons of water came out and we spend an entire night cleaning it up. Charlene was great and sent her son and some cleaning people to help but we did the bulk of the cleaning. If the vanity was able to be moved or drawers could be opened it would not have been an issue. All in all, the house needs some "mending''. It is a great house but it looks like it is in decline. I hope the owners read this and make some changes because the house and location are great but when on vacation, it is frustrating to have to put up with these types of issues. If you do not have small kids it might not be a problem for you.

Rocking in the TCI

The property was terrific, perfect for the two families that stayed there. The quality of the mid-week service cleaning was really great. The people who came to clean were there for hours and the place was spotless when they left! We had a very nicely appointed kitchen and big table for group meals and the morning coffee at the outside sitting area was great. Randy was very helpful and prompt to answer questions we had. My one recommendation is the second building was an extra charge and although going back in the listing I found that piece of information, it was not clear at the beginning. I booked the house thinking that was included in the booking. So that was a disappointment to learn it was not part of the stay. We made due with the main house. Thanks for being part of a wonderful Family Vacation!

Fantastic villa helped us have a fantastic vacation!!!!

We traveled with our children and grandchildren and stayed for 9 nights. The villa is just as indicated in the photos! The slide and pool was fabulous. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. Plenty of towels and items to take to beach. Beach which is within walking distance was wonderful. Sunset beach is just a little longer walk, but also amazing for watching sunsets. The villa had bikes which we did not use. Outdoor grill was great to have for dinner in. The only negative I can say is not the villas fault. During our stay the bugs called no see ums were bad. We immediately contacted Randy and he was quick to respond and have the outside of the house sprayed. We highly recommend this villa for a large family or several couples!! Wonderful memories!!
