This is a historic library located in Providence, RI nestled in between the campuses of Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). An atheneum is a library that you have to pay to be a member of but this one is free and open to the public. Great space to spend a quiet cool afternoon lost amongst books.

The sun just crested over the horizon when I took this photo of the Slater Mill Historic Site in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. This historic mill is said to be the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution. It was modeled after cotton spinning mills first established in England. Although it was a bitter 22°F outside, a scene like this does make me forget the cold for a few minutes. #BVSBlue #MyBackyard.
