"This property was really great, in a good area. The busses and tube were very close- a couple of in walk. The property was really clean especially since it’s so old. The beds were good. It was hot, we were thankful for the fan, but could have maybe had one more but we were grateful. We utilized the laundry since it had been so hot each day. "Good customer service (I had to extend my stay but change rooms, the cleaning staff moved by baggage between rooms for free). Overall clean and well maintained. The only warning I have is that the heat build up is pretty bad in the rooms and there is no air conditioning, just windows that you can open and a fan provided. I would recommend it for the cooler months but avoid it come mid June through September."

"Lovely historical building. Amenities in the room were great-a fridge, plates, glasses and cutlery. It was very hot in the small, third floor room with the fan just blowing hot air around. Lots of stairs too but that was made clear when I booked. The outside area is beautiful and a lovely area in the heart of London. Easy to walk to High Street Kensington and Portabella Rd. Would stay again"

"The accommodations are definitely worn - the carpet was pretty gross, couch was old and pull out bed was uneven. Window latches were unreliable, and a number of ceiling lights were out or flickering. Smelled of smoke and had cigarette butts on the balcony ledge. Bathrooms were solid and washing machine was perfect for us. The service was great, and space overall worked well for our family, but given other options available I would opt for another accommodation for a future trip"
