"We really loved our stay with one exception. A woodpecker would wake us up daily between 6am-6:30am pecking loudly on the outside of our suite (#58). We asked if anything could be done but there wasn’t and it was a common occurrence. We would love to go back if we can be sure we could sleep in."

"The rooms overlooking the ocean make this property a find. If you are staying in one of the other rooms like we did that face the parking lot with no ocean view nor space to sit outside your room, then paying $360 for a mid-week night was not worth it. Our room was dated and the window did not lock (the mechanism to close the window was missing). We didn’t stay for the continental breakfast served out of a small shed in the morning. "The park was beautiful BUT the power was out for a day and when we checked out we had trouble packing up because we could not see anything in our room and had to use our phone's flashlight. As a result, we accidentally left our power plug in our room and perhaps other items due to the lighting. Also the food at the lodge was cold and many of the menu options were not available. For $500 a night, one would expect better conditions but you're paying for the location and little else. The staff was...

"Beautiful Property and amazing landscaping. Our room had a large hedge of flowering star jasmine right in front of our room patio area. I'm very allergic specifically to star jasmine so we couldn't enjoy opening the back patio door or sit out for very long. . Might be good idea to ask if there are any specific plants that may trigger allergies? Aside from that, all was fine. We appreciated all the complementary goodies in our room."
