The house was a great get away from the city life, the view, the quiet and the simple fact that everything we wanted to go do is less than 10mins away driving was a big plus. Everything in the house worked great.Too great may I say that the A/C in the house had to turned off for a few hrs because of got too cold inside, knowing outside was HOT. If i had to complain about something would be that some newer mattresses in the main house would be ideal. I might just be getting old though lol. "I was surprised that there is an attached guest house that can be rented by another party. Property was frequented visited by outsiders who walked the property while we were there. The AC was on a program that froze us out at 4 AM. And the whistle noise around the master bedroom door was loud. The towels were not fit for goodwill. Beds were comfortable. Living room floor was dusty at checkin."

"Private riverside retreat. Lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. During our stay the river flow was very fast and there were quite a lot of rafts and kayakers going by. So very cool to watch and cheer them on. "We had such a great time during our stay at this property! Our group consisted of three families coming together with kids of multiple ages. Everyone slept comfortably and there were plenty of beds for all! The kids enjoyed running around the grounds. They loved looking at the horses in the morning, playing on the zip line and taking dips in the hot tub in the evenings! This place is perfectly located within the town of Kernville. Thank you again for all of the fun!"

"We loved our stay in Ponderosa. The cabin was spacious and stocked with all the necessities we needed. Property managers were very responsive when we needed to check in about things. We were so close to many cool places: Dome Rock, Trail of 100 Giants, Freeman Creek trail, etc. Would definitely come back again!"

"I usually travel with my best friend for my birthday weekend this year I wanted to make it a family trip to make memories with the grandbabies. This was a perfect place to do this. It is located at the top of the mountain so the view is amazing. Their is a game room that the grandbabies and all of us loved. Sunsets are amazing and the people around are so friendly. This I would say was the best trip and I'm excited to do it agian and we plan on booking this same cabin. Absolutely love this place"
