"Clean and friendly in a convenient location. Excellent breakfasts made from good, fresh produce and served by nice staff. Considering the rooms are above the bar, there is very little noise disturbance. Only complaint was the uncomfortable bed. Mattress felt old and lumpy."

"Have stayed at the Ship a few times over the years so knew what to expect. Nothing has changed it’s an old building. Staff were excellent meal in the evening and breakfast next day were both good. Very central location "

"Lovely place to stay, beach perfect for the dogs and people all very friendly. Accommodation good, could have been much better with a welcome pack! The steps were a challenge, I consider myself quite fit but 74steps to climb with luggage not easy, added to which my husband scraped his car on the hand rail while trying to park on the tricky slope. The views were amazing from the deck as expected."
