We chose not to stay and share a bathroom with strangers and booked elsewhere that had a full size bed and a private bathroom. "The rooms were clean. The only issue we had the AC did not work but they brought a portable AC unit in and that worked great. The hotel is a little dated but not a deterrent. There is a large homeless population just down the street. But that is every where you go in Anchorage in our adventures through the city."

"This did not feel like a safe building or area. Room was bare bones but not particularly clean, and the deadbolt had been removed from the interior of the door. Would not have felt safe without my husband also there, and even so we almost changed hotels last second."
