Welcome to Maison Mouton, a cozy cottage by the sea where stories are written and memories are made.

Enjoy our charming oceanfront retreat nestled in the heart of Nova Scotia. This beautifully furnished two-bedroom cottage offers a serene and cozy stay in Port Mouton. Equipped with modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, a fully stocked kitchen, and a charger for electric vehicles, it's the perfect home away from home for families. Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Canada's ocean playground!

The accommodation offers two full bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with a queen bunk bed), a mezzanine with two additional single beds, an open-plan living area, and a full kitchen, as well as a bathroom equipped with a washer/dryer and a wetsuit drying station.

For the beachgoers, drop off your bum on the beautiful sands of Carters Beach, Beach Meadows, White Point, and Summerville Beach, just a few stones away from Maison Mouton. 

For the epicureans, White Point Resort offers good dining and live music every night. In Liverpool, just 15 minutes away from the house we also love Lane’s at Privateer Inn for its true Nova Scotian vibe and Main et Mersey Cafe in Liverpool for good coffee and tasty lunches. 

For your everyday needs, the convenience store across the street is our personal best friend in the area (also an NSLC dispensary that can accommodate some last-minute apero plans!

As described. Beautifully laid out. Loft is more suitable for children than adults. I'm 5'4 and bumped my head each morning. Still a lovely stay

We chose this property as it was close to family in the area. While they did not stay with us, the kids enjoyed the legos and markers available. And we all liked the “music with dinner” that the record player provided. All necessary equipment to make meals and room for 6 around the table. Everything was just as described and we all had a great time. Obviously coming in March, we knew we would not be spending time outdoors, but we did grill one night, and for those visiting later in the spring the spot for a bonfire looked like it would be fun. The view was amazing.

For the short time we were there, it was an excellent stay. The check in process was easy as well as communicating with the owner. I came down for a work trip and brought my family. The view is beautiful, the cottage was nice and bright during the day with the sun, it was nice and clean and had a well stocked kitchen. It was a nice touch that they had detergent, dryer sheets, dish soap, sponge and and soap for the bathroom. Its close to town and many other tourist spots. If we have a chance to come back to the province, we will definitely be staying here again!

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay. The cottage was everything and more than we expected. The kitchen is fully stocked which made cooking easy. The linens were very nice and there are extra blankets as needed. The views of the water were amazing and we loved sitting outside on the deck or by the shore. The area is beautiful and we loved exploring the sights. We highly recommend this lovely cabin and hope to stay there again in the future.
