Kelvin Grove - The Perfect Family Holiday House

  • Esta espaciosa casa de vacaciones lo tiene todo. Totalmente independiente con 4 habitaciones, la principal tiene una cama queen size, la segunda con una cama doble, la tercera con 2 camas individuales y la 4ª con una litera individual. Hay una gran sala para los niños con su propio baño, tenis de mesa y un montón de juegos para mantenerlos entretenidos. Hay un salón / comedor combinado con ventiladores de techo y aire acondicionado por conductos, cocina con lavaplatos y una lavandería interna con lavadora y secadora. La casa cuenta con un gran patio al aire libre con barbacoa con vista a los jardines tropicales. Hay 2 plazas de aparcamiento. Esta casa de vacaciones puede alojar cómodamente a 8 personas, perfecta para unas vacaciones familiares combinadas.

    La casa está situada en Lighthouse Beach, con dos campos de golf muy conocidos de 18 hoyos, Emerald Downs y Port Macquarie a solo minutos de distancia. También está a solo 5-10 minutos a pie de la playa Lighthouse, que está totalmente vigilada en los meses de verano. A poca distancia de aquí se encuentran tiendas locales, clubes, cafés, restaurantes y una taberna. El centro de la ciudad está a 10 minutos en coche.

    Las atracciones locales incluyen playa, surf, paseos en camello, paseos a caballo, pesca, golf, The Glasshouse, Koala Hospital, películas, Sea acres Reserve, avistamiento de ballenas, cruceros por el río, jet boating, hidroavión, paracaidismo, bodegas, cervecerías, macadamia farm , La cosecha de tomates y fresas de Ricardo, restaurantes, cafés, bares, recorridos campestres, cascadas, caminatas de arbustos, bolos, spas de día .......

A break away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We needed a place with accessible access for my wife's walker. Good level place, easy access and while we only used one room, the facilities and condition were of a good standard. Ceiling globe in end bedroom blown and no dishwasher detergent or sponge for the kitchen sink. Being just two of us, it is a waste using the dishwasher. We purchased some and left on-site. Yes we would use again if needed to stay in Port Mac.

It's a great house with plenty of space, clean, and fantastic location near supermarkets, kid friendly tavern and the beaches are 30 seconds away. Definitely staying here again.

Beach get away

It was a great location a couple of blocks from the beach and around the corner from the tacking point Taven and shopping complex. We will definitely be back.

Cleanliness was average, very dirty under couches, behind washing machine, door tracks. The house could do with an overall deep clean

Kelvin Grove property

Great house, great location, very central to everything, Unfortunately for us roadworks were underway the entire stay so a lot of noise spoilt the peaceful surrounds. Property backs onto a major road so lots of traffic noise too. FYI the roadworks won’t be completed until end of 2025.

road works

Property was perfect for keeping us comfortably warm in winter. Road works on Ocean Road/Emerald Road (very nearby) were painful - noise started at 7am. Vibration started at 7am - thankfully both were over by 5pm. Cleanliness was questionable - could have spent a week cleaning but dirt could have been due to the wind and road works.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is located perfectly for beach,shops, and tavern. Unfortunately, the roadworks made walking to the pub awkward, but overall, it's still OK.The property itself is well equipped if very dated. It could really benefit from at least a deep clean, if not full redecoration. There is everything you need for a family holiday including a new tabletennis table.However the kitchen would benefit from a sort out of all the mismatched crockery. The beds although comfortable are ancient and again could do with updating.Overall if you are not bothered about aesthetics this is a great find.

Great Family Home For Holiday

Four bedrooms with queen bed, double bed, two single beds and a single bunk bed (two single beds). No indoor parking (garage). Room outside (driveways) for up to seven cars.

Lovely location

Lovely location in Port Macquarie. Close to beaches and shops. Tidy bathrooms and working kitchen. Good for entertaining.

Great family home

This was a great home for a family. Very pleasant to stay in. Very convenient location as Coles is literally across the road as well as a few other shops plus a great tavern. It is a short drive away to city centre and beaches or you can walk to light house beach. Highly recommended house. House was clean and tidy, it just needed airing. There's Aircon and fans which wasn't in the ad so it was a bonus.

Convenient to shops

The location is good - there's a small shopping centre with supermarket and tavern just on the other side of the main road, but it's also a 10min drive from the centre of town and the patrolled beaches if that's important for you.
