Great weekend getaway

House was beautiful and each bedroom had its own bedroom which made it so much easier to get showers etc after a day at the beach. Would definitely stay here again

lovely home, great view

The house was in a great location. we could sit on the deck and see the ocean. We loved all the beach decor in the house. The kitchen was well equipped. You will need to bring your own shampoo and body wash. The king bed was very comfy. And the AC worked great! :)

Awesome gulf breeze

Overall the stay was excellent. If you aren’t good at stairs this is not for you! The onlyProblems I had was check in. They emailed me the wrong code to get the key so I had to call them.

Bunk beds

We had a great visit. Easy access to the beach. Only one problem. Two friends that slept in the bunk beds by the window,they both got ate up by something. Big red bumps all over their body. Definitely wasn't mosquito bites and they were the only 2 that woke up with bumps. Just an FYI so you can have the beds checked. Thanks for the experience,we plan to return

Memorial Day Weekend stay

Zero communication from property management company. Holly didn't respond to message nor phone calls. Cleaning team did poor job preparing the house for new guest. Dishes were dirty and food left overs were left including cooked meat inside the oven. Advertised charcoal grill can’t be used as is all rusted and has holes. Prepare to bring your own grill. House location is good and has close access to the beach.

Great stay and location

A group of 8 of stayed here over the weekend. The place is as shown on the pictures. We liked the location, the house itself, the number of beds & bathrooms and amenities. If you are coming via Galveston (or plan on going back and forth), please remember that it takes time to travel by ferry during high traffic times. There were 2 minor things that could have been better: 1. There wasn't enough supplies (extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc). This could have been better. 2. I called/texted the contact 3 different times (to ask about early check-in, actually getting into the property, and, inquire about late check-out). I only got ahold of her during the 2nd time related to getting into the property at which time she was helpful (I was actually at the wrong property). Overall, a nice place for a large family or 2.

Communication was a concern

We booked this property at the last minute because of a cancellation of our original property. We booked through the property manager, Evolve. The people at Evolve were very kind and helpful, but I did have to call twice about being over charged. Just be vigilant and know your quotes when booking. Working with the guest contact was a different story. Holly, guest contact, was great about replying in the beginning. Once we checked into the property, she would no longer reply to to my questions. The property was comfortable, and had needed kitchen utensils/dishes. It was a short walk to the beach and the outdoor shower and water faucets were helpful for cleaning off after a day on the beach. It was great to have 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms since we were 4 couples. Comfortable beds and towels provided. Nicely decorated. Concerns about the property; -House rocks pretty significantly -No hand washing soap in any bathroom -Coffee pot does not work correctly -Front door in bad need of paint & glass needs to be cleaned -Only 1 dishwasher pod and no liquid dishwashing soap -Bring your own washing soap for the washing machine

Nice house needed supplies

The house was great. Plenty big and a great view of the gulf from the front porch. The management company was great and very helpful. The cleaning/stocking crew...not so much. Things we had to ask for because there was either not any or not enough: Toilet paper, trash bags, dishwashing stuff, paper towels. We also could have used more bath towels/bath rags. We would rent this house again in the future.

Amazing!

We just got home from our weekend here and it was AMAZING! The walk to the beach was perfect, the location and the setting in the condo was just perfect. The owner of the house was available at any time and checking in before we arrived and when we left. We will definitely be back!

No communication and house moves

The house is beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed our time there and I was glad that we didn’t have any issues. I can’t imagine having an issue and the contact person Holly never getting back to us. We tried contacting her several times starting a week before our stay to see if we could extend our stay one more day. Unfortunately she never replied to me or my husband. I also tried contacting the owner through VRBO and nothing. Granted it was not an emergency but very unprofessional and rude. We rent often from VRBO and the owner always gets back to us. Then, we noticed the house sways. Yep! It was so scary!! Our good friend has always owned beach houses on stilts and he said that is not normal. We’ve also rented other beach homes and have never experienced this. Maybe I’m wrong but we did not feel safe.
