    Hemingway Dream was perfect for our family beach vacation. Just a few steps from the home you were on a beautiful beach. Away from crowds is what we truly enjoyed. Watching the dolphins pass by was amazing. Best of all was the morning sunrises. Our host was quick at responding to any questions we had.

    Beautiful beachfront with unobstructed views. Lots of space to relax and enjoy. Home is a little more dated than images show but still a great property and location.

    The house was spotless and the views are spectacular. The porch/deck on the ocean side is a fantastic place to sit and enjoy the views. The property manager was extremely helpful with anything we needed. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

    The house location was excellent, closest to the beach we have ever been! The amenities were good, there was an abundance of extra stuff, cups, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. the toilet handle broke and the maintenance person came out quickly and fixed! Two small complaints, one the fan lighting remotes turned on and off the lights on fans in other bedrooms, was difficult to ensure the correct light was on at the right time. The other was for the bottom suite/bedroom, you had to go outside and upstairs to the rest of the house, not a big deal, it was still an excellent place to stay! Also, internet and TV were great!

    This beach was amazing and was exactly what we were looking for. We had a group of 7 which was made up of senior girls and their moms for a spring break get away. We wanted a quieter beach- not the typical spring break party scene. This house was exactly what we were looking for. It was close enough to great food choices and activities while being isolated enough for a refreshing break.

    I was there Friday night to early Sunday morning. A new dishwasher was installed early Saturday morning. The only full day we had. My kids were still sleeping. In the evening and next morning we had no hot water. Also a large nail was sticking up on the deck that tore my nail bed. When owner was informed all I recieved back was. “Thanks for letting me know”. I was very disappointed this Vrbo.

    The proximity to the beach was wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked with great pots and pans and a lovely gas stove! Everything was described. I hope to stay again.

    Hemingway Dream - A Dream Come True

    We fell in love with the house & location the minute we arrived. Karen was the perfect property host beginning with a charcuterie box in the fridge on our arrival. The house perfectly fit our need for space with 10 guests (adults j children). We will definitely plan to return!

    Oceanfront Beauty

    Beautifully renovated home. Amazing sunrises on the beach. Can't get any closer to the ocean. Great quiet location away from all of the tourist activity. Downstairs "apartment" was perfect for grandparents to have a bit of downtime and privacy. Sharks teeth on the beach! I hope we get to come back to this one!

    Great location, but place needs updating

    Property is located in an excellent beach front location and check in was hassle free. Did not have a need to communicate with the property manager other than to locate the bbq grill. However, property is in very poor condition and needs extensive updates. Property was not clean upon arrival and we were not advised of the construction next door before booking. Honestly expected more for paying over a thousand dollars per night.

    Wonderful location and home for family time at the beach. Tons of shells on the beach for the kids to sort through. This home has all the needed kitchen utensils and cleaning supplies. It even has more matching plates, dishes, and cups then our family of 11 needed. We were not expecting that the house was split into 2 units that required us to walk around outside but the weather was beautiful so that was not an issue. Only concerns were the dishwasher was moldy, the light switch is wired incorrectly for the stairs, and the AC stopped working just before we left.

    Nice beach

    The beach was all ours. There weren't many people on it. Great sand. The waves are SO loud. It didn't bother us, but you heard it the whole time in the house. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The apartment down below was in good shape. There is NO cell phone reception on this island (I've never stayed on an island that had good reception) My carrier is Verizon. Wi-fi calling didn't work for some reason either.

    Great spring break trip

    The weather was perfect all week during this spring break trip with family. The beach was beautiful with very few people actually on the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, glasses, and cookware. It would have been nice to have a Keurig coffee maker, though! There were plenty of towels and beach towels. The beds were comfortable. We loved sitting in the adirondack chairs on the covered porch and in the sun. We weren't expecting the downstairs area to be a totally separate apartment, but it was a nice area. The home was clean in obvious areas, but needed a little more vacuuming under the furniture and the bathtubs had very slow drains - both things that are easy to fix :-) Karen was great to work with and quickly responded to messages. The charcuterie box was so nice upon our arrival!
