"It's a great home base to start exploring the region. Two wineries are very close by, and Florence is an easy drive away. The traditional way the house is built keeps it nice and cold during the day. We loved it!"

"The accomodation at Montegabbro allowed us a vacancy both within a calm, natural environment at the end of a small road and nearness to major sights in Tuscanny, such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Firenze etc.. The perfectly equipped house features everything we needed, from airconditioned (cooling/warming) living- & bedrooms unto WiFi, Flat-TV (italian progs) etc.etc.. The owners were near and supported in any question. Some hints: For going to FIRENZE we recommend the bus from Colle Val...

"There’s no word to describe this amazing paradise. If you want to feel and live Tuscany this is the place to go. The Villa was exactly what we were expecting. Clean, well decorated, well equipped and the view is just stunning. We even decided to stay home one day to really enjoy the pool."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es gibt wahrscheinlich nur wenige Häuser mit einem derart grandiosen Ausblick. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen; es war aber alles sauber. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Für den Pool war es leider noch etwas zu kalt. Das Dörfchen ist leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es gibt eine sehr gute Pizzeria (mit sehr fairen Preisen) und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, für die man aufgrund der Straßenverhältnisse natürlich etwas...

"We had wonderful stay at Localita Granaio and in the Castellini in Chianti area. The villa was amazing with its history and setting and we loved the beautiful views as we sat on the patio with our wine and cheese. Our host Pietro could not have been better- helpful but not intrusive, informative and friendly. The general area also had so much to offer. We would go back in a minute! Thanks Pietro"

"Das Haus liegt sehr schön und ideal unter Pinien in Marina di Castagneto Carducci. Die Einrichtung ist einfach, aber zweckmässig. Schade ist, dass man Bett- und Frotteewäsche selbst mitbringen muss. Das führt zu zusätzlichem Reisegepäck. Nicht ganz zufrieden waren wir mit der Sauberkeit, insbesondere der Küche. Der Gesamteindruck ist gut und wir werden das Haus wieder mieten."

"Das Haus und seine Vermieter empfingen uns warmherzig und gemütlich. Die Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht, das dazugehörige Grundstück ist riesig mit viel Platz für alles mögliche. Die beiden Hofhunde sind ganz liebe Tiere mit einem freundlichen Charakter. Tolle Städte wie Pisa und Florenz sind nach kurzer Zeit zu erreichen und auch der Alltags Einkauf lässt sich vor Ort problemlos erledigen. Lecker Essen gehen ist für ca 70,- Eur für 4 Personen auch kein Problem."

"We had a lovely week-long stay in this property. It's located just outside the small village of San Dalmazio up a long, private dirt track. The property itself is spacious and rustic with plenty of amenities, including bikes, a barbecue and pizza oven. There are two bathrooms and three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin).
