We stayed in a cottage, which was situated in a good location, close to tne beach. This resort is off a rugged but beautiful stretch of coast. The resort is beautiful, plenty of nature all around. It’s spread out over a hilly site, but has a free electric golf buggy service to get you about. There resort also offers a good mixture of swimming pools and cash bars. The entertainment on offer was good if you wanted it. We did an excellent excursion by boat along the coast as far a Cala Luna. Some of these beaches are stunning. We snorkelled every day and saw a good variety of fish. It’s a really nice resort and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Having worked in high end hospitality management for over a decade, I understand the pressure during busy periods, however that shouldn’t detract from the customers experience. Service is what makes or breaks a hotel. Sadly the service here lacked massively. Apart from the staff members mentioned. What I find even more shocking is the replies to critical feedback from the Hotel’s Director General. Defensive and threatening rather than taking feedback onboard to improve services. This is NOT what the Hilton brand would expect The housekeeping staff were always smiley and pleasant. The staff at breakfast just aren’t attentive. Again, no service with a smile. The exception to this was a lady called Elletra who was great every time we saw her! Thank you. I had some dealings with customer service to arrange a cake and flowers for my wife’s birthday. Guilia was very helpful. Thank you. Check out was the same as check in. The staff member didn’t smile once, didn’t even make eye contact with us. Again, not what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel. Enrico was always pleasant.
