"I stood at this family guesthouse for four nights when travelling on business in the area during May-June. The rooms are all upstairs, tidy neat, well-lighted and nicely decorated. You enter by their restaurant which, by the way, has very tasty seafood platters every day made by chef Steve, who also prepares an excellent English breakfast every morning. "This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot...

"Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. "

"Great location and room was perfect. Smart TV a nice touch. Contrary to what Hotel.com say, the hotel doesn't have parking so you need to park in the 24 hour car park a street away. Check in was confusing as you had to go to a different hotel across the road but it was fine. You also have to go there for breakfast."

"I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this.
