"Historic property so quite old fashioned. Room was a great size & very clean. Had good amenities albeit water pressure in shower was non existent & WiFi was poor. Good quality breakfast but full table service for cereals & juices was a bit weird. Great location for walking into Whitby and good parking. "

"The room was up to standard. The lock on the door was old and not fit for purpose, the carpet in the room was dirty and had stains on it .every floor creaked when walked on so you could hear people waking by most of the night. Also the bed was uncomfortable."

The kids were probably about 10-13 years old and were terribly loud, running up and down the stairs, screaming and yelling in the hallways and the teachers didn’t do anything about it. He’s a type of person that ruins a perfect evaluation! Everything there was perfect except for him, and I recommend that the establishment replace him. I saw him being rude to others as well. "

"Wow, what an amazing place to stay in Whitby. Foxton Penthouse was central for us to have coastal walks and to walk into town. The apartment was very modern and had everything we needed to make our stay go well. Once in town you can cross the bridge and walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey. Or get the hop on hop off bus. The costumes of people dressed up in Gothic clothes added to our stay. "

"We had a great time staying in this lovely house. It's really well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We are a family of five and there was plenty of room in the lounge for us all to sit together on the big settee. The house is situated in a great location, near to the town, not far from the seafront, just great for walking anywhere really. There's a parking space at the house, which is a big bonus.
