"Overall our stay at Medewi Bay Retreat was wonderful. Since this was our first trip to Bali, we didn’t have a lot of experience with the different areas of the island, and didn’t realize how remote this area was. We knew Medewi was a very popular surf destination and nearby to Negara, but other than that it is a far more rural/remote area than Kuta, Changgu or Ubud. "I loved this entire property. If you are looking for a secluded property away from the touristy spots in Bali, then this is it. Sit back and relax in the privacy of your own villa. There is friendly staff there to assist you with your needs and the villa manager is a text/call on WhatsApp away. "

"When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. El sistema 24h es un problema

"A diferencia de lo que ponía en la reserva, este hotel funciona con un sistema de 24h, que significa que la hora de salida depende de la hora de entrada. En la práctica, esto implica que cuando uno hace el check-in no sabe a qué hora le darán habitación, porqué depende de cuando dejan la habitación los huedpedes anteriores. En nuestro caso tuvimos que esperar hasta las 19h. Esta ocurrencia es una pena porqué el hotel en sí está bien."
