★★★★★ I had a really nice stay at Hotel Erwin while I was in Venice for the Vintage Bathing Suit Contest at Muscle Beach. The location was perfect—being able to stay so close to Muscle Beach made the whole weekend much easier and more enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and I loved the fun, laid-back Venice Beach atmosphere. My only small downside was that there weren’t many food options inside the hotel unless you wanted to eat at the rooftop restaurant, but there are plenty of places within walking distance. Another guest mentioned that they had seen a cockroach in their room. I personally did not see any bugs during my stay and had no issues, but since you’re right by the beach, I’d recommend keeping your bags zipped and belongings organized just as a precaution. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again, especially for an event at Muscle Beach. Great location, friendly staff, and a true Venice Beach experience! 🌴☀️🏖️

A wonderful property that takes you back in time yet has all do the modern conveniences. The restaurant was amazing, the pool was perfect. A wonderful stay!
