"Fabulous location. Excellent staff. Great welcome. Well appointed and v spacious room that was clean in all the important places. A little grubby in places cleaned less frequently. Very good shared spaces. Restaurant 8.5/10. Some courses excellent but a chewy bit of tuna not good and it’s very noisy when busy. Would stay again. "

"Only stayed here for one night but it was lovely. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a drink and good conversation and then shown to our room. The house is beautiful and the on street parking was safe. We walked down the road for dinner and felt safe during the day doing so. Would recommend and stay here again. We did not eat there but the table set ups were beautiful for breakfast. "

"This was an absolutely stunning property. The location, the views, the property itself, the breakfasts and the service were all 5 star. One of the best properties that I have ever stayed at. Only drawback some may find is that it is a bit out of the way - but with dinner transportation to the CBD and waterfront included and a distance of only 10 minutes. "

"A very quite relaxing place, breakfast is available but it was not the best (cold), this was a very different place, also a yoga retreat. interesting building and rooms. little areas to sit everywhere. lots of spiral staircases to get to places so not good if you have a bit of a funny knee like i have. 2 lovely dogs on the premises too, very friendly."

"We stayed at this property for five nights while visiting Cape Town. The room was nice. It had doors that separated the sleeping area from the living area. The doors had little stops behind them to prevent them from opening all the way. I am not sure why that was. I think the stop should be moved so that they’re all the way against the wall and the doors can open completely. I banged my foot one night while getting out of bed to go to the bathroom because the door is about 30% open. Otherwise,...
