Oh dear, another grand old dame that’s been allowed to rot. Get beyond the fabulous lobby area with its lovely staircase, and you are met by bedrooms and bathrooms that don’t seem to have changed in 50 years. Whilst Inverness is expensive, a price of £180 per night without breakfast is unforgivable, for this quality of accommodation. Suggest you look elsewhere.

A very comfortable Highland Hotel. The room was very well appointed and comfortable. A nice touch was the tea and coffee in the room with delicious shortbread! Good bar ( with resident cat, Seymour) and spacious restaurant.
