Peach and Horne Monument Ben Peach and John Horne were the geologists who mapped Assynt and made a major contribution to understanding the complicated geology of the Moine Thrust Zone. In the background is Cuinneag (Quinag) above Loch Assynt.

Peaceful location with friendly helpful host. Property is stunning, our room with the kitchenette was well stocked and comfortable. Room was clean, bathroom boosted not just cleanliness but a hot shower with water pressure.

Overall enjoyed our stay
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The pod was clean and tidy and had lots of facilities. Was a bit disappointed that there was no free standing bath in the pet friendly pod. We found the bed slightly firmer than preferred.

Very cosy and comfortable!
Paul was a very friendly host adding nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge for the supplied tea, coffee and biscuits. Started a fire in the wood stove and it was such a cozy evening. Really lovely place.
