"Hotel was lovely, we were a family of 4 and stayed in a connecting room overlooking Broadway. Super clean bedrooms with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The pastries and coffee were very tasty from the bakery next door for breakfast served by very friendly staff. Could have perhaps offered slightly more than $10 though. All in all a fantastic hotel."

However, the first-floor room we stayed in was awful: Windows face the covered patio so no sunlight and no privacy—shades had to stay down, so you're basically staying in a tiny broom closet. AC control panel lights up the room at night. You can hear the subway go by at regular intervals, and we were awoken at 4am by a really loud, jarring jackhammer-type noise.
