"Subject: Request for Compensation – Stay at Grecotel Plaza Beach House Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing regarding our recent stay at the Grecotel Plaza Beach House in Rethymnon, from 6-11 august, during which we booked a “Petit Loft Maisonette” for 5 nights. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of the standards expected from an establishment of your reputation. Below is a summary of the main issues we encountered: • First room: extremely noisy, located on a very busy street. It was...

Some minor maintenance niggles. Seems a bit mean providing a coffee machine but no capsules but hey ho. This is a...

"The staff in La Stella are excellent! They care very much about providing a great service and are very kind and hospitable. My friends and I had a great time and would love to come back. Thank you in particular to the manager Mary who made us feel particularly welcome."
