"Lovely Garden room. Rather bijou and a particularly small bathroom. I was concerned about noise from the restaurant but it was fine (we were on 1st floor). Luxury bedsheets and duvet and decent aircon. Staff all lovely. Breakfast was fine. I had salmon and scrambled eggs on the first morning. The salmon was pretty tasteless and the eggs were dry - very disappointing and not expected from this establishment. Next morning I had smashed avocado and poached eggs which were nicer, but not...

"The setting is perfect, overlooking Freshwater Bay, and the hotel has been beautifully restored. Everywhere feels very spacious and comfortable. The staff are lovely and clearly wanted us to have a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. They dealt with my irritating dietary requirements with concern and professionalism and were all friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back."

The Bathrooms look and feel modern and have a high standard of fixtures and fittings. Very hard to find fault with this venue as Lucy and all the staff without exception go out of their way to please and accommodate your stay without being intrusive or overbearing. "This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped."

"FANTASTIC HOTEL. The location, the service, the bar and restaurant were all truly 5 star. Woke up this morning after truly good sleep in massive room overlooking the priory and ruins. The reception staff was simply wonderful, just little things like letting us have a coffee and a croissant when we came in to drop suitcases off before check in time. Little drink tokens on the house, to be enjoyed in a truly gorgeous bar & restaurant. We loved everything and will be back 😊"

"Cliff House was a great stay for one night. The staff were very helpful. We stayed in a ground floor room opposite the carpark which was not the best in terms of view but OK for one night (given accessibility was more important). The room was clean and nicely decorated, it had a slightly musty smell perhaps because it was on the floor next to kitchens etc but overall fine.
