"This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped."

"Good breakfast. I did speak with property about solo travellers being stuck at the back of the dining room. Why cant we have as good a table as anyone else? I am an experienced traveller and dont like being treated any differently to anyone else! Whole hotel and the grounds are georgeous though and I enjoyed my time there. My single room was nicely spacious."

"The room itself was clean, functional with enough space and good facilities. However we didn't realize the property was a converted house (and our room was upstairs). This didn't jive with the pictures of the chalet bungalows we had seen on the website. Perhaps we didn't pay enough attention when booking, but we felt rather misled by the lovely pictures of the converted back garden and chalet rooms. Be aware of presence of a pub behind the property (ear plugs provided) and that check-in and...

"We booked the room thinking we had access to the spa as all photos showed it, but when we got there we didn’t have access to most spa areas, which were a premium service on top of the room cost (over £250/night). The room was spacious but it’s old fashioned and didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. Disappointing."
