"Staff were rude. At checkin she chose to answer many calls meaning checkin took a very long time No directions given. Tried to checkout and apparently the remote for air con had to be taken down but no one tells you this Staff were so rude Meals were below average. A Buffett dinner and breakfast but the serving trays were empty and not refilled The rooms were very noisy and aircon didn’t work so well Had to park a very long way away and two people damaged cars because of narrow road "

Es gibt nicht einmal Wasser gratis im Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist gut, allerdings keine 4 Sterne. In der Nebensaison bis 15.3. gibt es einige Gratis Parkplätze in der Stadt in Laufnähe, ansonsten ist die Parkplatzsituation angespannt (und teuer). "We had a reservation in hotel Apollo but 2 days before our arrival we were informed that it will close for the season We were relocated to Grand Hotel Portoroz. Nice spa-wellness center. Room spacious and well maintained. Breakfast very good. Dinner not up for a 5* hotel"

"The hotel is OK, the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, however the hotel is NOT what I was specifically searching for. I had two preferences: A hotel in Piran with breakfast. As we arrived we found that Piran was over 5 kilometers away and that the hotel did not serve breakfast at this location, rather it was in their other complex in Portoroz. There were also very misleading pictures on the website, regarding the standard of the facility. Lastly, a return ticket to Piran by taxi...

"Wir hatten ein sehr schönes großes Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick zum Meer.Das Personal war sehr nett.Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.Das Essen war gut und es wurde immer wieder nachgefüllt.Anfangs bekamen wir nur einen teuren Garagenparkplatz.Da kamen wir ohne Personal gar nicht hin.Und das Auto wurde auf Wunsch rein und raus gefahren.Das ging gar nicht.Als endlich ein Platz aussen frei wurde,war alles perfekt."
