"Only 30 min from the airport, up in the coffee covered hills above the very vibrant Alajuela neighborhood, is the best, not too expensive hotel in San Jose. Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds and gardens, nice food and a very relaxing setting. We really enjoy spending our last night, after puddle jumping and before getting on that big old jet liner, just decompressing in affordable luxury. Go there, you'll be glad you did."

"This was an amazing find!!! We rented the unit with two bedrooms and had a great experience. Stayed for one night at the beginning of our trip through CR and the night before our return flight. Super clean, very safe, a well stocked kitchen, comfy furniture, walking distance to several grocery stores, and a friendly, responsive host who gave us a ride to the airport super early in the morning for a very reasonable price. "Small room but clean and had everything you need! This was our 5th and final Hotel of our stay in CR and the only hotel with conditioner and a bidet. Towels were the softest as well and the pillows were perfect. Staff was gracious and very helpful. Mini bar type fridge in lobby with gluten free and alcohol options. Being near the airport there was some noise but minimal and the pools little waterfall helped mitigate that. Overall, great place near the airport, and 5 minites from Jumbo car...
