The host Stacy was awesome. When we arrived our code to get in did not work. Stacy answered our call and gave us a new code and we were in the cabin within 5 minutes. The volume would not work in the theater room and she sent someone out to check the problem. The hot tub wouldnt come on and she sent someone out to fix that right away too. The cabin is great. Was worried about the elevator but it turned out to be great as well. The only reason I give 4 stars is because there is no insulation between floors and you can hear every move that anyone makes on the floor above you. When the 1st person gets up in the morning everyone wakes up. The 4th floor bedroom is just as noisy. You can here everything from the 3rd floor. We all tend to go to bed and get up around the same time so it worked but I dont know why they dont make the cabins more sound proof when they build them. This is not the first cabin we have rented from other companies that have the same problem. The best things about the bashful bear cabin is the view. The best view ever! Also the location is perfect. So close to everything in Pigeon forge and a quick drive to Gatlinburg.

Great cabin. A bear visited us for dinner. Only real issues were the dishwasher wasn’t the best on normal cycle. Also the hot water never made it to the fourth floor. Last the WiFi for the TV didn’t work on the 4th floor. We didn’t complain so can’t rate the responsiveness as anything other than great. We had other shower options since there are a total of 6 showers. Only suggestions would be to have some staples in the kitchen. Salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard just some basics. The rest of the kitchen was stocked extra ordinarily well!! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Perfect fit for 13!

The cabin is fantastic with 6 bedrooms each having its own bathroom. King beds in most. Pull out couches we did not use. The VIEW from the patio of the Smoky Mtns can’t be beat. Hot tub was clean. Kitchen had any and all size pots skillets and roasters along w/ air fryer, coffee pots, dishes, glassware and nice counter top space. TVs in every room. Proximity to PF attractions and Gatlinburg was great. We had a bear visitor 2 days on our patio. One day he got a drink out of the hot tub! The game room was nice. It needs some updating via better bar stools but much fun was had up there. Leak in kitchen faucet needs fixed, but this cabin was so much fun.

Great Christmas stay

We really enjoyed this cabin. It was beautiful. The view was breath taking. There was snow on the tops of the mountains and it made for a perfect Christmas view. The elevator was much needed as we had several in our party that couldn’t do steps. Everything was stocked up in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Nice cabin but could use a little work.

The cabin was nice and very clean. It offers plenty of entertainment for guests and is pretty accessible for someone in a wheelchair. The cabin needs some improvements done to it porches and could stand to have better mattress on the beds. If you or someone you are with is in a wheelchair only one of the bedrooms will really work for you.

Very large property with amazing view

Property was excellent. Very large and kept clean. Not a new property but well maintained. Would recommend everything about it but did have one odd quirk. There are no interior stairs between the floors. There's a small elevator but it's slow. Luckily it was warm out during our stay. Had it been cold, the exterior stairs would've been an issue. Property manager was excellent to talk to. Overall recommend.

Family getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The views were wonderful. Location great. The rental needed some work; the kitchen faucet was loose, the air hockey table did not work. The mattresses needed to be replaced. Some of the wood around the hot tub needed to be replaced, some of the railings on the stairs seemed loose.

Breath taking views with plenty of room

There were 15 of us and my 15 yr old grandson is completely wheelchair bound. The evelvator was a must because of him and we had 15 people. We loved the kitchen and the grill adn teh amazing views!! They were breath taking the entire time we were there. We loved being up on the mountain and having air hockey, pool table, fuse ball. It was a huge hit. The movie room was totally loved by the kiddos. Plenty of tales and chairs to sit around for eating. Did I mention the view. There was a pool we did not have time to get to and it was too hot for the hot tub, so we didn’t touch the hot tub. We truly enjoyed our stay at Bashful Bear and the manager made sure we had our every need. She was wonderfully responsive. Thanks Stacy! Love this place. Highly recommend!

90th birthday celebration

Everyone was totally impressed with the property. It was immaculate and extremely functional. There was something to do for everyone in the group. On of the best VRBO experiences we have had the opportunity to use. Highly recommended.

Amazing views!!!

This cabin had the best views of the mountains!! Breathtaking! We had a great time and the kids loved the game room. Plenty of space for our family of 12. Everyone slept good in the beds and we were all very comfortable. We will be back!

Family reunion

We loved the cabin itself but the hot tub did not work the whole time we were there. It would not heat and the deck under it looks like it’s slanting. Loved the elevator option but needs some TLC. Railing loose on banister between level 2 and 3. Bedroom door on 2nd level wouldn’t lock. And the door knob mechanism is backwards. Loved the free tickets to attractions. Kitchen fully stocked and had plenty of everything we needed. Thank you for great stay!

Sibling Getaway

The only complaint was that the arcade gaming system did not work, but the Air Hockey and Pool Table were a big hit. There was plenty of room throughout each floor to accommodate the number of personnel. My family enjoyed the mountain views.
