We are writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the extremely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior exhibited by one of your motel managers (Stephanie at Motel 6 in Broadway Road, Tempe, AZ) during our recent stay at your hotel. As an establishment committed to providing guests with a comfortable lodging experience, such conduct by your staff severely violates basic service standards and caused our significant distress and dissatisfaction.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 5, 2025, when we were returning to our room. What we found was that the janitor never came to my room to do the cleaning and exchange the bath towels. As a matter of fact, we specifically asked the front desk to change the bath towels before we left the motel in the morning of May 5. Therefore, we sought assistance from the front desk staff. However, without thoroughly understanding the situation, the manager (Stephanie) came emotionally agitated and loudly reprimanded us. Her language was filled with impatience and accusations, completely lacking the professionalism and service awareness expected in the hospitality industry. Her actions not only embarrassed and humiliated us but also drew the attention of other guests nearby, severely impacting the hotel's overall image.
What was even more unacceptable was that during the reprimand, Stephanie repeatedly pointed her finger at us, making aggressive gestures.
