The room and the bathroom were really clean and appropriate for what we paid for. The bathroom had good water pressure and temperature. The kitchen was minimally furnished. The stove was under maintenance and the refrigerator wasn't as cold as I expect a refrigerator to be. The only dining table appropriate for two was outside which we weren't able to use because of the colder temperature. As for check-in, we had a few issues getting in. The key was missing, so we weren't able to get in on our own. We quickly contacted the host who responded really quickly to our message (even considering our late arrival) and sent the property manager to open the door for us. Once with the property manager arrived, we had a few communication problems which might have been fuelled by the fact that English was not our first language. He also seemed really adamant on fixing the light fixture in the room regardless of the late hour. Once he understood we didn't mind the broken light fixture, he quickly left and we had no other problems after that.Regardless of the check-in issues we had, the place was in a walking distance to a lot of restaurants and public transport (bus, tramway, metro/subway station). It was really quick and easy to reach downtown Philly and surrounding activities. On the night of our arrival we had trouble finding parking on the street which we were warned about, but isn't a problem during the day.Overall, it was a nice place but the check-in issues kinda threw us off.
