The apartment was very clean and house rules, check in, and check out were timely and clear. We appreciated the furnishings, multiple TV's, and space. However, neighbors were noisy either due to thin walls or simply noisy behavior. When people arrived in the apartment above us, we could hear garbled conversation and stomping. Street parking was easy to find, but the streets themselves were rather dirty. At one point there was a small leak in the ceiling. When we reached out about it, we did not get a response for quite a while. That said, it seems the owners may have been already busy dealing with the source of the leak, because it stopped within minutes of starting, and we heard movement above the area that sounded like cleaning. The apartment offered much value. It was affordable, plenty of space, clean and well furnished. The noise from neighbors was the biggest complaint

The room was clean and comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and great air conditioning. The staff were friendly and attentive, and having a washer and dryer available was a huge plus. Overall, a smooth and pleasant stay — I’d definitely come back.

The place would have been “you get what you pay for” okay if the people running it kept it clean, and were oriented towards customer service. They did give me a list of small grocery stores—all kind of far, and not great. That was nice. We ended up using Uber Eats for delivery. The bus nearby is dying—not on a regular time schedule due to lack of funding. The train nearby goes to the city and is reliable. We needed an extra sheet set and blanket—first off the sheets and blankets provided had hairs on them, and the images of the unit (were not of the unit) and showed spaces that were usable as other sleeping spaces. There was nothing extra in the space. This seems unreasonable because if you are staying somewhere for a bit you might just have a spill or get cold, or have some other reason to need extra linens. When I asked for some they said no extra linens without paying more. It did not have a customer service energy to the reply. The internet didn’t work at all. They said it wasn’t technically included but didn’t get back to me for two days on trying to understand the problem. No towel rack, no toilet paper holder, no dish rack in the kitchen, one spoon, these things made it less comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom units were not bad. But, dirt was caked into the floors and the furniture was heavily stained. The neighborhood was rough, catcalls, being checked out a lot, and nothing really to make it livable without traveling somewhere to get supplies.

For the price, it served its purpose! I purchased items that were reasonable for my comfort and convenience! I happily left the items for the next guests! I would stay there again if I needed a place to stay! Thanks for the option!

I booked a last-minute stay in a second-floor unit. Pros: The unit is very spacious Great location near public transit and convenient for visiting TD Pavilion at the Mann Clear and easy check-in instructions Basic complimentary toiletries (body soap and shampoo/conditioner) Cons: Check-in details were sent late (around 3:45 PM, despite a 3 PM promise) Cleanliness was lacking: all seating (couch and dining chairs) was heavily stained, floors were sticky, and fans/vents were dusty The TV was in the living room, but unusable since the couch was too dirty to sit on Air conditioning was inadequate for summer heat: only a portable unit in the bedroom, with the rest of the unit remaining hot and uncomfortable; I requested installation of a window unit I found in a box, but it never happened Overall: A decent option for a quick 1–2 night stay, but not ideal for longer visits or hot weather.

Relaxing & Cozy Apartment Stay!!

The stay was very much enjoyable!! Loved the personal apartment feel. I actually enjoyed not having front desk concierge not watching me come and go. My only dislike was the mode of communication. Didn’t know to look in the Hotels.com messaging app for check in/out instructions. I was told I’d receive an email, but the messaging center was the email mentioned. Just a bit of confusion, but not enough to detour me from coming back to GoodSeed. I will definitely return!!

Not Helpful

I was very upset because they turned me away. They did not try to work with me in any way possible to accommodate a simple mistake i had made during reservation. I contacted them to advise i made a slight error on the reservation and asked if i can do something different to fix it. They turned me away and said i could not get a refund. Not even a partial refund. They did not offer me any other dates i could of switched my stay dates to. I am very upset with them. Not a place to try to help you in any way possible.

I was a little hesitant to book this property because of some of the reviews I saw but I honestly didn't have any issues. Once I booked, I started receiving communication from the property manager, I paid my fee and got my instructions all smooth. The place was clean, had everything I needed for my stay and there were several options for food nearby.

We had an incredible stay at Urban Chic Apartments in Philadelphia! The apartment was well-equipped, clean, and super comfortable, especially the bed. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring the city and close to Fairmount Park, which was ideal since we came into Philly for the Roots Picnic Festival. Ubers were easy to get and usually arrived in under 10 minutes. We loved staying in an apartment rather than a traditional hotel, it gave us more space, privacy, and it was nice and quiet, which made it easy to relax after long days out. One minor downside: there was no microwave, and we couldn’t quite figure out the remote situation. But those were small things compared to how great everything else was. A fun bonus was the Water Ice place right across the street, they serve food, too, which was super convenient. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Philly who doesn’t mind taking an Uber to get around. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

This was a last-minute rental, and the price was quite reasonable. The property wasn't entirely clean (sticky floors and a sprig from a plant on the couch), but it was quite roomy -- a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and small bedroom. That was a lot of space for very little money, and parking on the street outside was easy to find. Other than the loud outside street noise, the only complaint I had was that there wasn't much bedding, only a sheet and a fairly thin coverlet, no blankets. There was a lot of clear communication from the owner, which made the stay pretty straightforward. This wasn't the most central location in the city, but if you have a car, it was worth the low cost. Most properties in Philadelphia were far more expensive.

The property was clean and spacious. We liked the large TV and that it was very close to the MFL train station, so we could get around easily. There was water damage on the bedroom ceiling that was an eyesore. Also, it would have been nice to have a microwave in the kitchen. Overall, though, we did enjoy our stay at Urban Chic Apartments.

We had a very nice 3-day stay this weekend. Communication was clear and straightforward, which we appreciated. Access to the train was very convenient. All of the amenities, particularly the stovetop and fridge were helpful and enhanced our stay. Thank you!
