"It is a lovely beautiful place, we visited at the end of snow season but I bet that this place is beautiful in fall foliage, summer and winter! Me and my best friend stayed at this amazing, cozy and family owned lodge and we will definitely be back we our friends and family. Lisa is very sweet, attentive and has two beautiful cats. "

"The Inn is beautifully maintained. The common areas on the first floor are very inviting, highlights being a fireplace and a bar. A made-to-order breakfast is served in a lovely dining room. Parking was easy. The Innkeeper, (Brian ?), was very welcoming and personable. The location is on the Main Street, but traffic noise was not disturbing. Guests must be capable of getting their luggage up quite a lot of stairs. We would stay here again."

"what a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Green Mt's!! Beautiful historic inn in a beautiful setting...great host's and excellent breakfast in a dinning room overlooking the grad ends full of flowers. We'll be back! Highly recommended!"

"The view of mountains id stunning, as is the aroma of fresh air and the enchanting songbirds. We had a great time in the small but adequate swimming pool. It is easy to miss the turn onto Laurence Lane, so it would be good if a sign were to be installed there."

"It was a short stay but an awesome one. Newfane is a quaint area. The room itself was beautiful. It was nice and quiet; didn’t hear others. Very clean. Would loved to have stayed longer. A little pricey but then it again it was a last minute booking and also peak foliage season."

"This was a unique experience for me. It was like having a nice room in a log cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful right off the winding country road sitting in front of a forest with a beautiful outlook from the dining area. There was good self serve beverage options available when I arrived in the late evening and breakfast the next morning had enough quality items for a gluten free person like myself. No bread or baked goods for me but nice yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee. The owner Nick...

"Wonderful find in Vermont. The staff provides what you need while maintaining a room for your privacy. Everything is in the vincinity with each access."
