  • Porth Nanven Cottage es una casa de dos pisos bellamente decorada de dos habitaciones, ubicada en la ladera de una larga pista en el mágico Valle de Cot, que es un área de excepcional belleza natural. Cot Valley se encuentra en el extremo oeste de Cornwall, entre Cape Cornwall y Lands End, el valle se extiende hasta el mar y la ensenada de Porth Nanven, que es arenosa durante la marea baja. La ciudad comercial de St Just está cerca (a poca distancia de la propiedad) con una selección de tiendas independientes y una serie de buenos pubs. El histórico puerto costero de Penzance está a 15 minutos con una variedad de tiendas y supermercados más grandes.
    Alojamiento
    La cabaña se acurruca firmemente en la ladera y se acerca por un camino sin hacer. Hay un gran plan abierto, sala de estar y comedor de triple aspecto, con pisos de madera pintados y techo blanco con lengüeta y ranura. Hay grandes ventanas que dan al valle y puertas francesas que conducen a una parte del jardín, el resultado es un espacio amplio y luminoso con vistas al jardín. En un extremo de la habitación hay cómodos sofás y un televisor, en el comedor hay una mesa y sillas de buen tamaño. ¡Una habitación ideal para relajarse después de un extenuante paseo costero o surfear en la cercana playa de Sennen! Hay una cocina bien equipada con unidades de estilo agitador pintadas, superficies de trabajo de madera, tableros de piso pintados, lavaplatos, lavadora / secadora combinadas, refrigerador y congelador separado. Hay dos habitaciones dobles, una con baño en suite. Las habitaciones están bellamente decoradas y las camas están adornadas con ropa de cama blanca y fresca. Hay un baño familiar separado con bañera y ducha sobre lavabo, toallero y WC.
    Hay espacio para estacionar un automóvil en la parte delantera de la propiedad y la capacidad de estacionar un segundo automóvil por acuerdo si es necesario. Al frente de la propiedad hay un área de grava con barbacoa incorporada, también hay un área de jardín al costado de la propiedad con patio directamente afuera de la sala de estar y el resto tendido en el césped y parterres. Hay senderos directamente fuera de la cabaña que conducen a la ruta costera y hacia el mar, hay otra propiedad al lado (Porth Nanven House), pero la cabaña sigue siendo privada con un jardín aislado; Perfecto
     para parejas o familias por igual. Porth Nanven Cottage es extremadamente amigable para los perros.

    El día de cambio es estrictamente un viernes en temporada alta. Fuera de temporada es más flexible.

    Instalaciones y servicios
    Electricidad incluida, calefacción central, TV con canales gratuitos y wifi de banda ancha. La casa está completamente limpia antes de su llegada y toda la ropa de cama, toallas (incluidas las toallas de playa) y la ropa final están incluidas en el precio.

This is a lovely, very out of the way cottage close to the coast (walking distance). The owners are lovely and very accommodating.

My wife and I stayed in the Porth Nanven Cottage for 9 days in May 2025. The cottage was spectacular and we enjoyed our time there. It is outfitted with almost everything one needs; the only thing we couldn't find were ice cube trays. I would give it 5 stars, except that the couch is in dire need of replacement as are the frying pans. The couch sags badly and was very hard on my 78 year old back.

Beautiful location and very comfy

I consider my self a holiday cottage connaiseur (i.e bit fussy) and cannot fault this property. It is in a lovely out of the way spot down a track which made it very peaceful but easy reach of St Just which has everything you need in way of shops, food etc. Really nicely furnished and lots ofextra little touches like plenty of plates, loo rolls etc. Really appreciated excellent welcome pack which I always thinks sets the tone for a good stay. Perfect spot to do lots of walking without getting car out.

It was made clear that the property was located down a narrow unmade track, but the condition of the track was terrible, with branches, bushes and worst of all, sharp brambles hanging over from the sides. This causes inevitable scratches down the sides of vehicles and was impossible to avoid. It would not take much effort for the host to cut back the undergrowth at regular intervals to avoid this issue. Otherwise the property was delightful.

Lovely stay in Cot Valley

This place is wonderful - quiet, beautiful, clean and close to the sea. The cottage was very comfortable with a stunning kitchen and top notch bedding. We loved St. Just and the surrounding area and my husband even won the local half marathon. Everybody we met was helpful and friendly - special thanks to Phay for excellent communication throughout. I could not recommend this place more highly - thank you!

Gorgeous Cottage Getaway

Brilliant location, just right for our party and little dog, with gorgeous views and surrounding walks. Only a stone’s throw from the sea further down the valley, I would recommend this property to anyone wishing to get away from it all!

Cute cottage close to the beach

The cottage is well equipped, comfy and has a garden, which adds space at least when the weather allows. It’s very quiet and super located for walks to the beach (10 minutes) and along the coastal path.

Beautiful location and a fabulous property

The Cot Valley is so beautiful we had a wonderful week exploring . The property was beautifully clean, was very well equipped and felt quite luxurious . We loved sitting in the conservatory listening to the birds.

Ideal spot for a relaxing stay

If you want to get away from it all this is the place to come. Located in a beautiful valley with only the birds & the stream to listen to it is a place made for relaxation. Nearby St Just provides all the amenities you need and there are plenty of walks to go on that surround the cottage. The cottage is well furnished and with some added luxuries to make a very comfortable temporary 'home'

Heavenly cottage in magical Cot Valley!

The cottage nestles into the hillside and is a wonderful flowing space with two very comfortable bedrooms. We had a wonderful time here, two sisters who love to draw, photograph, walk and explore. The cottage was spotless, Phay the manager very helpful, and Emily the owner in the big house very welcoming. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a marvellous stay.

Cosy cottage

We found the cottage to be quiet, cosy and well stocked in a great location for walking the coast. We didn't enjoy the drive from St Just to the cottage though as it is mostly a single track very narrow lane for about a mile where the shrubbery scratched our car on both sides. The unmade track from the lane to the cottage is also not great for all cars.

Perfect Setting

This lovely cottage is in such a beautiful spot just a 10 minute stroll from Porth Nenvan Cove. We recommend the sunset when the tide is out, we took some lovely photos of it. The dog had the best time too. Highly recommended. Thankyou. Sally xx

A great place to chillax!

We spent a week in the cottage with another couple and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. It is situated at the end of some narrow lanes and quite secluded. We did a couple of long coastal walks around the area, including Cape Cornwall and then on to Bottallack of Poldark fame. All places to see are quite close at the pointy end of Cornwall too! The property provided a very good 'book' explaining how everything worked in the cottage and what was available nearby in St Just. It also listed places to visit and recommended restaurants - very helpful. Note that there is no mobile reception in the cottage, but there is a good broadband connection so you won't have to put up with social media disconnects unless you want to. The only - very slight - problem is the size of the second bedroom which is quite small. We got there first so got the first bedroom which was very roomy, and has an en-suite - so do the same if sharing! (-;?

Punktet mit traumhafter Lage

Traumhafter Wanderweg beginnt direkt hinter dem Haus. Ruhige, einsame Lage. Schöner abgeschlossener kleiner Garten, ideal für den Hund. Sehr nette Kommunikation mit der Agentur. Essplatz mit Wintergartenatmosphäre haben wir sehr genossen.Kleiner Wermutstropfen: statt Gartenmöbeln nur Campingstühle. Und eine Kaffeemaschine wäre auch ganz schön gewesen. Aber die Hütte war geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet.

Traumlage, Erholung pur

Wir waren 1 Woche in Porth Nanven Cottage, es steht in einer traumhafte Lage, ist sehr liebevoll und hell eingerichtet, gleich hinter dem Cottage beginnt der Coast Path an der Küste entlang, man kann wunderbar wandern, vom Haus/ Gästen nebenan bekommt man so gut wie nichts mit, eine sehr ruhige Umgebung, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in St. Just, in 10 min erreichbar! Haben tolle Restaurants und Pubs ausprobiert, alles gut mit dem Auto in kurzer Zeit erreichbar! Wir waren rundum zufrieden und haben unseren Urlaub genossen! Danke an Phay für die leckeren Scones und die Leckerlis für unseren Hund!

Schön und super Lage

Die Lage gefiel uns sehr. Etwas ausserhalb des kleinen Ortes St.Just. In wenigen Fußminuten erreicht man ein sehr schönes Stück Steilküste, mit dem Auto ist es nur ein paar Minuten nach St. Just. Dort gibt es alles, was wir als Urlauber zur Versorgung brauchten. Das Haus ist hell, modern und gemütlich eingerichtet und alles was man so braucht ist vorhanden. Rundherum ist nur grün, von den drei nahe gelegenen Cottages haben wir niemanden mitbekommen. Die Vermieter standen für Fragen und Unterstützung bereit und waren sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank dafür.

Perfect week in perfect location

From the moment we arrived at Porth Nanven Cottage, we know that we were in for a treat. Any property that is 10 mins from Nanven beach is a winner, with it's incredible, dramatic yet beautiful coastline. The house is wonderfully calm and the lounge/conservatory has lovely light, and warmth. The kitchen has everything you might need (we cook every day), and the bedrooms are cosy and welcoming. A lovely hamper greeted us, as well as the bird life and you MUST see the stars at night.

A real home, away from home!

When we arrived it was already very dark and in the middle of a horrific rainstorm we found our way to the cottage thanks to excellent route info. The next morning we had rain but that was it for the rest of our two weeks. We absolutely loved the cottage, the valley and the village (pub & restaurants). It was always a pleasure to come home after a long walk with our dog and experience the absolute tranquility of the valley and the superb comfort of the cottage. We will come back for sure! A beautiful and well comfortable cottage

This is a beautifully and well appointed cottage. We are very keen walkers and couldn't have asked for more, as the cottage is directly on the South West Coast Path and about a quarter of a mile from a lovely cove. The beds were amazingly comfortable and after a long day walking with our dog, it was lovely to wallow in the bath and then sleep in the total darkness and tranquillity of the Cot Valley. The place really felt like a "home from home" and we will certainly return next time we visit this part of Cornwall.

A coastal retreat

A fantastic place to stay close to all the coastal walks and the pretty town of St Just - If you don't want to drive anywhere the town is a short walk away with great bus links to Penzance and the rest of cornwall.
