  • La casa consta en la planta baja de un salón y comedor con fantásticas vistas, suite de tres piezas, mesa y sillas, aparador y mesa de centro. Cocina amueblada con vistas. Habitación frontal con sofá, mesa de café, mesitas y cómoda. Inodoro y lavabo. Primera planta: habitación doble, armarios empotrados, tocador, mesitas de noche, balcón con fantásticas vistas sobre el puerto y la bahía de Mounts. Habitación doble con armario empotrado, tocador y mesitas de noche. Pequeña habitación individual con tallboy. Amplio baño con bañera, ducha, inodoro y tocador, preciosas vistas. Arriba hay alfombras, pisos laminados en la planta baja y pisos acolchados en la cocina. Puerta del salón al exterior y patio. Muebles de jardín y bancos. Vistas sobre el puerto y la bahía de los Montes. La casa está situada en una tranquila zona residencial.


    Newlyn: Newlyn es un puerto pesquero ocupado, puedes sentarte y ver la imagen siempre cambiante de la casa dentro o fuera del patio o balcón, es una explosión de color. Baja al mercado temprano en la mañana y observa a los pescadores desembarcar sus peces. El colorido y bullicioso puerto, hogar del conocido 'Penlee Lifeboat', se jacta de las flotas pesqueras más grandes de Inglaterra y ofrece varias tiendas de pescado que venden diariamente pescado y mariscos frescos capturados localmente.
    Conocido por su comunidad de artistas que produce algunos de los mejores artistas, Newlyn es el hogar de la 'Newlyn School of Art' y 'Newlyn Art Gallery'
    Con una hermosa playa de guijarros que se extiende por más de una milla sentada junto a un gran verde que te lleva al paseo marítimo de Penzance y la piscina al aire libre Jubileo, Newlyn es el lugar perfecto para tus vacaciones.

    Penzance y más lejos ...: la ciudad comercial de Penzance está a aproximadamente 1 milla de distancia, un hermoso paseo por el camino de la costa y el paseo marítimo. Aquí encontrará tiendas, edificios históricos y arquitectura, cine, restaurantes, galerías, biblioteca, la hermosa piscina Jubileo Art Deco, el puerto y paseos en barco. Es aquí donde puedes tomar el Scillonian para un viaje de un día a las islas subtropicales de Scilly. También hay un centro de ocio para esos días lluviosos. Golowan Festival es a finales de junio.

Fantastic view and great location

Fantastic views over Newlyn port and great location for accessing many places in West Cornwall. Very clean property, lovely host and very homely.

Beautiful House!

We had a fantastic 2 week stay in this gorgeous house with amazing views. We felt like this was a home from home, the locals are friendly, great places to eat, lovely walk along the promenade into Penzance. We’ll absolutely book this place again for any future trips to Cornwall, we’re already missing the views and we’ve only been home 24 hours.

Beautiful home with an amazing view

Amazing, the home was perfect, homely, clean and with the most stunning view that is forever changing with a buzzing harbour there is plenty to watch, if you have children or adults that love to watch the comings and goings of the fishing vessels

Newlyn Gem!

Wonderful stay in Jill's house. Everything left you could need, and little extra's too! House in a wonderful position and parking too which is a huge bonus anywhere in Cornwall. The neighbours very friendly too and Linda and her husband were very generous with giving us some wonderful hake. House has two lovely balconies and views were spectacular. Thank you Jill!

It was perfect

It was our first trip to Cornwall and surly not the last! The landscape is wonderful and the people are very friendly. We had a very nice stay at Port View. The house is spacious and has enough room for a family with 3 children. Attention if you have young children, the garden wall is very small. Everything was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Jill is very nice and helpful. There are lots of seagulls due to the proximity to the harbor. Who also like to sit on the terrace sometimes. The neighbor fed the seagulls sometimes. Newlyn is not a typical vacation resort but still very original. With the bus you are quickly in Penzance or Mousehole or Marazion (St. Michaels Mount) Some beautiful beaches, eg Sennen Cove, Porthcurno, Carbis Bay or the Minack Theater are less than 20 minutes away by car. All in all we had a great vacation with many impressions.

We had a great week, the view makes this place, always something to watch from the fishing boats in the bay to St Michael’s Mount and Marazion in the distance. Fresh fish for sale in the little shops in Newlyn daily and central for visiting other places. Flew from Lands End airport a short drive away over to St Mary’s. As with most of Cornwall it’s hilly and a climb up from Newlyn, but you won’t get the views otherwise and we found an easier path along the tiny back roads. Had no issues picking up the keys or during our stay so didn’t need to contact our host. We made the most of the buses that go regularly into Mousehole and Penzance bus station, from there you can take a connecting bus onto Marazion or anywhere else in the area. Local co-op in Newlyn so rather than doing a weekly shop we just popped in there to pick up a few things we needed as we went. Shops are full of pottery and artwork… a little pricey but they are often bespoke pieces so up to the individual to decide on value… We drove to Cornwall so used the parking space at the house and were grateful for the option to turn the car around on the grounds of the old School house opposite avoiding the need to reverse up a hill when going out. Lovely gardens just up the road called Trewidden serving the best lunch of the trip… including local Newlyn crab salad. Dukes in Newlyn also serves really good food and drinks.

Wonderful

This property was perfect we had a lovely weeks stay the house is beautiful and the view is beautiful we spent many hours sitting outside watching the boats and the sea even though it was the end of October it was still nice . Had some trips out but were very happy just being in the house Thankyou to Jill x

Port View

Very enjoyable stay for 2nd year running. Property well maintained and equipped. Parking space although tight is a bonus. Would recommend.

magnificent

The absolutely breathtaking view is the main character of this house, without downgrading of all the other superior outfittery (incl. plug adapters eu-uk e.g.) which was as best as possible. We enjoyed our stay at port view the utmost. Jill, you've got a gem there and once we'll see a chance we'll return.

Wonderful holiday

Port View is a lovely house, very comfortable, with everything you would need. It has the.most amazing views over the harbour. Watching all the boats coming and going is really lovely.

Port View

Property aptly named with great view of the port.Very clean, plenty of room and well equipped. Car parking space a real bonus. Owner very helpful and easy to contact. Pleasant and easy walk along the sea front to Penzance. Would readily return to the property and highly recommend.

Great base with great view

Fantastic viewing the port when sitting at the table or from our bedroom balcony (or even when brushing your teeth in the bathroom!) - there was a lot of movement in and out while we stayed. Accommodation was well stocked especially in the kitchen. Saw some fantastic sunrises while in bed. Coastal walking was also spectacular even when hard going at times. Parking was challenging but doable (even with an estate car.) We had such a lovely holiday. Thank you.

First Class Property

This was the perfect experience from booking to the condition of the property. Good communications from the start made our check in easy. The house was impeccably clean, well furnished and cosy with a stunning view over Newlyn Harbour.

nice stay

Port veiw was a nice place to stay in newlyn, the veiw overlooking the harbour was lovely, nice big spacious house, decorated very well throughout. On the down side the cleanliness could have been improved with a closer inspection the mattress cover in the main bedroom had stains, when patting and straightening cushions in the living room there was alot dust coming off them. We re wiped the kitchen ourselves and the cloth came up dirty, it also didnt mention in the description about the steep hill you havto drive up and down to park but once you get used to it it's not a problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay, just a couple things that could of been improved on.
